Yuck. That’s basically the overall feeling from our one night stay while touring colleges in the area. The elevator was dirty - hadn’t been vacuumed. We used our digital key to access the room. We should have asked to change when we were hit with a smell - not mold/mildew - more like some kind of food was cooked in the microwave at some point and imbedded itself into the fabrics in the room. If that was the only issue, not a big deal. But basically, the whole room was just yucky. The door to the room was covered in marks. The actual door handle/lock mechanism moved around when we used it - at some point it’s going to come right off. The room was covered in stains. The sheets didn’t feel very clean - very worn and thin. The pillows themselves were good. The mattress creaked and was well worn. Surprisingly, the bathroom was the cleanest/newest part of the room.
This was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our trip, but I would have gladly spent more if I’d known the quality of this hotel. I would not recommend, and I would not stay there again.
