I had never stayed here before and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. Very clean, well decorated, a mini refrigerator and comfortable bed...will definitely stay here again when visiting my hometown!!

Two of us go to breakfast once a week to catch up & plan for the coming week. The parking lot is often filled with snow sleds as you can slid right on in. A new owner took over @ ago but nothing has changed except maybe going down hill a bit. The help there is great & can't make your visit good enough.

Room tip: Call early, they have 6 rooms. The restaurant is the main attraction.

We ate there last week. The meatloat was bland; its gravy had more gelatin than 2 boxes of jelly; the fried rainbow trout was dry with no taste. The baked potatoes were very overdone. How can someone overcook baked potatoes? The waitress told us the dessert we ordered was not ready for prime time that week. BEWARE.

We have eaten at a lot of "down home" and comfort food places in the US. This was the worst.

This hotel staff was very helpful. Our travel time needed to be adjusted several times and the staff -Abby, April etc were all very understanding and accommodating. I have stayed here several times before and this hotel is usually my first pick for return visits. The location to town (walking distance) and attached restaurant (which has good food ) and staff is top of my priority list which you can see when from first sentence. This hotel is clean and has comfortable beds. Rooms have TV, small refrigerators, coffee makers, hair dryer but no microwave. Although rugs appear little warn I feel the staff makes up.

Room tip: Small local hotel,so books quickly

Friendly staff and clean rooms. No in room telephone and the alarm clock did not work, therefore a wake up call was not possible. Comfortable queen size bed. I did not eat at the restaurant but it did smelled good - mostly seafood.

Room tip: Have an alarm device and telephone with you
