The Michaels were very helpful. They recommended great places to eat and shop.
They catered to our needs-they went out and bought fresh strawberries & special teas for us. The room was very clean & a nice separate entrance. We would definitely come back. Thank you Michaels for such a wonderful experience.

We had a really great 2 night stay at the Scotch Hill Inn. Michael, Michael and Kathleen were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was lovely and the breakfasts were superb. it is only a short walk to the restaurants and bars, and the lovely sandy beach. If we go back to Ogunquit we would definitely stay here again

My husband and I stayed for an anniversary get-away. We absolutely love Ogunquit and have been many times but this Inn made our experience even better. The room was beautiful and very clean, food was superb and breakfast with the other guests was really a pleasure. Michael was so accommodating and personable. We have two young children and this was exactly what we needed to get back to "us". I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone, and Ogunquit is one of my favorite places to stay.

My boyfriend and I had randomly picked the Scotch Hill Inn for a weekend trip to Ogunquit. The location of the Inn was perfect because it was right in the middle of the town and within walking distance to the beach and Perkins Cove. The traffic was really heavy through the center of town but thankfully we did not need our car to go to places in Ogunquit.

Mike and Kathleen were so helpful and gave us suggestions on where to eat. The breakfasts were amazing! We had such things as homemade banana bread, yogurt and granola, fresh fruit, strata, blueberry pancakes, sausage, homefries, and fresh-squeezed juice. We sat outside on the porch enjoying the morning.

The room we stayed in was perfect. Mike told us there were brand new mattresses that were rebranded from the Weston hotels. It was extremely comfortable! The room was equipped with a mini-fridge which we kept waters in.

Overall, we had an awesome stay and would highly recommend this to anyone going to Ogunquit! It was our first B&B experience and it was a very positive one.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Scotch Hill Inn in August 2011 for two nights and had a great experience. We stayed in Room 4, with a king bed and huge bathroom (with both a tub and a shower). Everything was very clean and comfortable, and all of the innkeepers were extremely welcoming and helpful.

The highlight of our time at the Inn was definitely the two-course breakfast each morning - it was awesome! The first day we had banana bread, fresh fruit with mascarpone, and a ham and asparagus strata. Day two was granola with greek yogurt, a homemade blueberry scone, a Monte Cristo sandwich and a potato pancake. Needless to say, there was no need to eat lunch after these breakfasts!

We spent the majority of our time in Ogunquit near Perkins Cove, which was a 15-20 minute walk from the Inn. Some great restaurants to try are MC Perkins and Prime - had great meals at both. Also, be sure to take a walk along the Marginal Way, it was beautiful!

We stayed at the Scotch Hill Inn for two nights and from the very beginning felt very warmly welcomed by Mike and Kathleen. They were very helpful at pointing us in the right direction for lunch ideas. Kathleen helped us with our lobsters from Beach Plum Farm-we couldn't have done it without her! The breakfasts were so amazing-bacon, spinach, mushroom quiche and french toast with pecan/banana compote. It was a really short walk to the beach and into town. Our room was along the main road which is very busy and can be a little noisy. Our only problem was that it was really hot that week and they were a little stingy with turning the air conditioning on. Only 2 out of 5 windows opened which made it tough. When its cool, it should not be a problem. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience!
