“What a fabulous place!”
Reviewed 25 March 2012

I took my fiance here to celebrate his 55th birthday and it was fabulous! We were greeted by Peter and given the tour and along the way we met Scott and Bruce the owners, of this lovely quaint inn, all three of them have taken part in making this inn what it is, truly fabulous! I did some research before coming up to Ogunquit and the restorations that were done by these men are truly amazing, you can surely tell that they love what they have done and what they do and that makes such a difference when you are staying at a small inn. We stayed in King 7 which they had just finished vaulting the ceiling, the room was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Since we were only staying for 1 night and had dinner reservations and a ride in the limo booked for 7 pm, we wanted to make sure we went sightseeing and were able to use the outside hot tub before the evening was over.

We hopped in the car and drove to Perkins Cove and walked the Marginal Way and tried to get a quick cocktail at Jackie's Too but it was too crowed (the weather that day in Maine was 80 degrees, practically unheard of in March). Headed back to the Inn and enjoyed wine, Prosecco and crackers before dinner.

Charles picked us up at 6:45 and drove us to our 7:00 reservation at The Olde Village Inn. We each enjoyed an appetizer, entree (lobster special and the scallop casserole), a couple of wonderful martini's and we each had dessert (yes we were quite full). Charles picked us up after dinner and drove us back to the Inn and we were able to enjoy the salt water hot tub for the evening.

Breakfast the next morning was yummy----blueberry and cranberry/white chocolate scones, fresh blueberry juice and coffee, fresh fruit, sausages, home fries and blueberry pancakes, (can you tell we love to eat) :-) During breakfast (that Peter made), we enjoyed conversations with Scott and another couple who have been to the Inn before and will be returning again, we loved the Inn so much we booked for my birthday in the Fall.

I look forward to spending 2 nights next time in Barn Suite 2.

Scott, Bruce, Peter and Charles, you are very blessed to be part of such a wonderful place to stay/work. Congratulations to all of you for a job well done!

Room Tip: Any room, the Inn is amazing. Spoil yourselves with a Barn Suite!

the most fabulous place you will ever stay! My husband and I have been going to the Gazebo for 4 years now. We have stayed in many of their beautiful rooms...from the Barn Suites to Full 6. This past weekend we had the honor of being the first to have the newly redone Suite 10....it is stunning, with a bathroom that will knock your socks off!! You will never want to stay anywhere else!! As always the guys (and girls) are the best hosts...ever, hands down, and now they have added a Suite that you'll never forget. ~Alison and Bob. NH.

Room Tip: Room 10 is to die for:)

My husband and I stayed almost 5 years ago (April 2007) here as a 30th birthday getaway! It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and honestly I'm afraid to try anywhere else now! I feel like we were spoiled rotten! We stayed for a long weekend and have been talking about returning for many years now. Every positive review of this place is true! The owners are friendly and welcoming and breakfast is INCREDIBLE! I remember the scones were to die for and we also had a Rasberry and Cream Cheese stuffed French Toast that my husband recreated for Mother's Day that year because I loved it that much! And I'm not a huge breakfast fan!

We stayed in Queen 1 which was roomy for the two of us. Our only complaint about the room was that it was the first room off of the main entrance so we heard everyone coming and going. There was a gap under the door that let the light from the entrance shine in but it was nothing a towel in front of the door couldn't fix! Even with the complaint it didn't put a damper on our weekend away. The steam/rain shower was phenominal and we've looked for something like this in every other place we've stayed since then. Nothing compares to it anywhere in our travels!
We received a gift certificate for the Gazebo for Christmas and immediately started planning for our 10th anniversary in August 2012! Availablity for anything in Ogunquit in the summer books quickly and it was not to our surprise to find that just about every room except for Barn Suite 5 was booked already. We are happy to splurge on our upcoming getaway! I know beyond a doubt that we will be just as happy, if not more happy, with our stay this coming August!

" Welcome Home Annie & Melanie" is what Scott said to us when we checked in ! Really- doesn't that just capture the entire sentiment of the Inn? Yes it does!!!!!!!!!!
We love the Gazebo Inn and their sister Inn- 2 Village Square. The Barn Suites at the Gazebo are the BEST with the two person jacuzzi and steam showers with wall jets. You never want to leave!!!!!
I can't speak highly enough to the hospitality of the Inn Keepers Bruce & Scott, as well as their staff- the Manager Peter and Charles the nighttime staff. They go above and beyond for their guests! You will NOT have a better experience than at the luxorious Gazebo Inn Ogunquit! Trust me- you will be coming back again and again!!!!!!!

This was our second time at the Gazebo Inn, they have never disappointed us. Check out the amazing new HUGE outdoor hot tub. Or sit by the fire in the self-service wine bar. Enjoy a shower in their exquisitely appointed bathrooms, or just lounge in the cozy luxury of their bedrooms or common rooms. We loved the wine weekend (so much for so little money!) We just kept saying, ‘you know what’s great? They just take care of everything.’

Room Tip: We stayed in their Queen rooms on both trips, but you can't really go wrong, any size is fine ju...

We booked our honeymoon at the Gazebo Inn, and we have no regrets at all! The Inn itself is gorgeous and pristine! The owners greet you upon arrival, and give a wonderful tour of the grounds, including instructions on how to use everything. OUr room was unbelievable, beautiful dual sided fireplace, and a fantastic bathroom that we never wanted to leave! Each morning we drank coffee in our room and then went down to a gourmet breakfast. We certainly ate well! They had great reccomendations on placesto go (especially since we had a winter visit, it was helpful to know what was open). I cannot stress how wonderfult eh Gazebo Inn staff are, and how sad we were to leave! We will definitely be making trips back!

Room Tip: If you can reserve one of the Barn Suites, do it! The bathrooms have jacuzzis, fireplaces, and 5 je...

This was our first trip to the Gazebo Inn, and for sure it will not be our last as it is the perfect setting for that romantic getaway that all couples derserve. Words alone can not describe the experience that we had at The Gazebo Inn. From the moment we arrived and being greeted by Peter at our car it was clear that the Gazebo Inn was going to be everything we had hoped for. After a delightful tour of the Inn and everything it had to offer, Peter gave us some wonderful tips on where to go for a great meal. Peter, Scott and Bruce have paid attention to the small details that make the difference between a good Inn and a top tier Inn. While we wish our stay could have been longer than three nights, plans are already underway for our next trip to visit Peter, Scott and Bruce at the Gazebo Inn. Breakfast was amazing and like everything else top notch. If you are looking for the perfect romantic hideaway for you and your partner this is it! We would like to thank Peter, Scott and Bruce again for all they did to make our stay as wonderful as one could hope. Rob and Lori
