I went to dinner last night at the Inn on Peaks Island. The Haddock sandwich for $13 was very good however, they watered down all of the alcoholic beverages ($9-$10). These beverages were grossly overpriced for the amount of alcohol missing from the drink. What was worse is that they tasted bad. If you are intent on having a drink, get a bottle of beer. They can't screw that up.

Haddock and service were very good. Stay away from the overpriced beverages.

What a wonderful place to eat lunch view the ocean and the people coming and going on this quaint beautiful island. I think I left a piece of my heart there. Watching the shops & boats while having a beautiful lunch with my best friend by my side was worth taking the boat over. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs while we ate and rested. Thank you for being dog friendly. If you have a well behaved canine friend traveling with you. Please stop here and have lunch or dinner on the patio. You won’t regret it ❤️

We took an early afternoon ferry and walked up from the ferry dock to The Inn for lunch. They were able to accomodate a large party (5 adults and 3 kids) with seating in the back at a large table. Young kids were entertained with coloring books and they even had a kids menu. Adults ordered: lobster salad (mixed greens), lobster entree, thai vegetable curry dish, skirt steak salad and the blackened haddock with fries. Lobster claws were HUGE and the meat was succelent. Haddock was done well and the kids loved the chicken tenders. Overall a successful and enjoyable lunch with the extended family at a fancy location.

We live in Portland-took the 16 minute ferry-walked a little first (next time golf cart tour or on our own). Picked this restaurant of the three or four seemed the nicest looking. Had a super table outside with lovely flower garden (well done whoever is in charge of the gardening here). Decent enough view. Anna our server was a delighter. We both had salads with fresh lobster add ons- Caesar and Wedge - both excellent at $17/$18. This is a Shipyard location and ownership so I could enjoy a nice glass of stout. The gin special drink of the day was the only let down. We will be back when you are open, as we understand closing for the off season is imminent. Super good experience

The setting is quite pretty and the staff seemed most pleasant. The menu was interesting but not complex, ideal for a lunch before catching the return ferry to Portland. Regrettably, after waiting 45 minutes from the time we ordered (basic items from the regular menu and having been the second table seated), we had to leave, paying for our drinks, and quickly searching for something light to eat, as the ferry left in less than 30 minutes. We really wanted to try and to like this location, but left still curious about the place and wondering if they are not interested in lunch traffic.
