The Public Market House is an interesting concept -- a food court of independent eateries in the middle of the historic downtown. The crepes were fine...just fine and not remarkable.

Had a breakfast crepe and it was really good. Friendly and fast service. Very reasonably priced. Will be back.

Great place for breakfast or any other time of day when you crave a crepe! I got the banana and nutella crepe and it hit the spot! had many options both sweet and savory!

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat for dinner while in Portland. Lovely little shop with polite and enthusiastic staff. Ordered a savory crepe with brie, smoked turkey, walnuts and raspberry preserves. The combination of flavors was delightful, and the portion was quite generous. Would definitely eat there again!

OK, so now having been to the two existing creperies in town, I definitely prefer the one on lower Munjoy Hill across from The Eastern Cemetery. Here's why: a colleague and I stopped-in here to the Portland Public Market on a whim recently (weekday mid-morning) and decided to try a crepe at this newly opened creperie. The space is bright and open, and there is casual seating at the window with good chance for people-watching.

We each ordered a breakfast crepe: she: the "Jump Start" (two eggs, cheddar, spinach, tomato, red onion, chive mayo- omit the red onion), me: "The Bow" (two eggs, cheddar, ham, chive mayo). Each was affordable at $5.00 plus tax. These were large crepes..... a good deal for the cost. We enjoyed them, though there was nothing particularly memorable about mine. My companion found hers to be undercooked, and she picked out the al dente spinach. We also noticed the eggs themselves were still runny and slimy: not cooked through.

I probably won't go back here because I know I can go up the street for sweet and savory crepes at an equally affordable price, and they will be cooked properly and served in an attractive manner vs. just being a basic-looking crepe on a paper plate.
