We stayed here on the recommendation of an old friend and loved it. We had another couple join us and the cottage was quite comfortable. The views are spectacular and the grounds delightful. The location to hikes and walks and even shopping in Bath was perfect. Meals were fine. Not gourmet, but basic and ample. Not sure about vegetarian options, however.
The only drawback was the fact that there was no mini-kitchen accouterments, ie. wine glasses, bottle opener, coffee-maker or paper towels. So plan to bring a bar set-up if you are staying any length of time.
Mosquitoes were particularly bad this year - both on site and on any walk you might take. RGI provides bug spray if you ask, but you'd be smart to bring you own.More
