We had lobster roll, clams and fish and chips. The only thing worth its price was the lobster roll. Fish and clams were near tasteless and fried we soft and undercooked. The location is worth as much as the food. Compared to other New England seafood joints, try somewhere else.

My go to place in the Freeport area. The food is always good and the views of the harbor are excellent. You can either sit inside (you still have a view) or you can sit under the awning at the picnic tables. You order lobster outside at the lobster pound and the fried items, plus desserts at the lunch counter. Make sure you try the blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream - delicious.

This restaurant is located a short distance out of the business area of Freeport and is located on the water. Although it is located off the beaten path, it is normally busy. Lobster products are located on the water side of the restaurant while everything else is located at a window on the side of the building. Covered picnic tables are available. While visiting this restaurant I had a fish sandwich which was very tasty and quite large. Be aware that they sell two different fish sandwiches. The cheaper one is frozen, processed fish while the more expensive one is fresh fish. Get the fresh fish, it's well worth it. This is a nice place to go to get away from the crowds around LL Bean.

As a vegetarian, I go to Harraseeket Lunch and Lobster for the view, not the seafood. (They have a grilled cheese sandwich and veggie burgers for the vegetarians.) It's a casual, friendly place, with dining inside and out. You order at a walk-up window, receive a number, and wait for that number to be called. Depending on the timing of your visit, your wait could be brief or somewhat longer than you'd like. My guests always rave about the seafood; I trust that they recognize fresh, well prepared seafood when they eat it. However, I do have personal experience with the desserts, which are generous in size and could serve as a stand-alone meal if you're in the mood to pretend that you know nothing about nutrition guidelines.
The restaurant is located next to the Freeport Town Wharf. The view of the sound is impressive, with plenty of boats (both leisure and working), as well as islands. On a warm, sunny day, this is THE place to enjoy a meal and a highly desirable view of the Maine coast.
Your biggest challenge will be parking. There is some dedicated restaurant parking, as well as a few spots on the street. Be careful not to park at any of the neighboring businesses.
Two sandwiches (one of which was a $13.00 lobster roll), an order of fries, an order of onion rings, an iced coffee, a water, and two desserts cost $43.00. That's a bit pricey for lunch in Maine, but it's all about the location.

Very good food and friendly... and attentive service.

A good diversion from the discount mall.

Worth a stop.
