Thi joint is no really a restaurant, like many lobster shacks in Maine. But who cares - if it tastes good? Well, it does.

We arrived there to late in the evening so there was no cooking. But we did collect some yummie Lobster stew and steamed clams, returned to our hotel and had a little feast.

This is a real lobster pound, so dont expect table service. You order the size (in lbs) lobster you want, the sides you want, and they cook the fresh lobster boiled over wood fires. They call you when your order is ready, and there are numerous tables to sit down and eat. They are open till about the 15th of october. The lobster was so fresh you could still taste the salt water....and delicious too! Best place to eat in the area. Dont miss the opportunity.

We ate here the first night of our stay in the Trenton/Bar Harbor area and were not disappointed. The line is often long, but moves quickly. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the food was terrific - great value for the money. We had whole lobster, corn, and lobster bisque. We picked out the lobsters ourselves and they were taken outside to be cooked upon ordering. Everything was fresh and cooked just right. Simple, high-quality food.

This is a great place to have lobster. You picked your own lobsters, and they cook it outside. Highly recommend to go if you are nearby.

Honeymooning in bar harbor, this was our first stop before crossing the bridge. Very fun experience! We got to pick a live large or small lobster, with a soft or hard shell. They cooked it right outside, we got to watch! Got to order lots of sides with it, too. Very cool!
