Owner description: Come experience our working Maine farm winery continuing an over 200 year old family farming tradition. We make our wines from the grapes grown in our vineyard as well from Maine wild blueberries grown in our fields. While you are here enjoy the views as you explore the grounds. Have your lunch in the vineyard, you might be lucky enough to see our resident hawk soaring overhead looking for a tasty treat.

Wonderful afternoon of food, wine and James McMurtry (outlaw country music)!!
Traveled from Boston to enjoy this free concert.
Amazing outdoor venue.
Add the Savage Oakes Wine = perfection.

The wines are fine, but really not much to see. We walked the vineyards but we were on a self-directed winery tour the day we went and this location was fairly blah and the wines were so-so. Did not match up to other locations like Cellar Door, but still fun. We did buy a couple bottles of wine and they were nice to enjoy after the fact. If you are in the area a 30 minute stop is worth it, but I would not drive a long distance for this winery by itself!

Visiting Maine for vacation and stumbled across this place. I loved every wine I tried (very rare for me) and the staff was SO friendly and helpful!

We went to this vineyard on a rainy Saturday' afternoon an enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting , we learned a lot about different wines and things to pair with them to bring out the most flavor . They have a beautiful wraparound deck where you can enjoy the farm land and livestock , also we were told that they have concerts during the summer , most notably The indigo Girls will be performing there . We would recommend visiting this vineyard if you are in the area

This has been a must stop on our yearly visit to the Camden, Maine area. This year the surprise was a brand new tasting room with a wonderful bar and a spacious display area, as well as a rest room for patron use.Sandy does a great job with the wine tastings and although the wines may not be to everyone's liking, the fact they are are locally produced alone makes them worth the purchase. The selection ranges from sweet to moderately dry and the dessert wines are very good. Always a treat.
There is a modest charge for a tasting but you can keep the glass. Also with the new tasting room you can purchase a glass of wine to enjoy on the deck. Maybe next will be some cheese and crackers for purchase and enjoyment?
