We had an early anniversary dinner date tonight at the Parsonage House. This place is not just a cute beautifully decorated restaurant it is an experience. From the time we drove into the yard Lori was waiting for us on the front porch and calling us in for dinner and we could hear the roar of the waterfall that is also on the property. This is such a beautiful place and was just so much fun. We started off with the best corn chowder either of us has ever had. It was paired with yummy hot popovers. Henry had a wonderful garden salad. Our entrees were Garlic Roast Chicken served over sourdough croutons (The ultimate in comfort food. Savory roast chicken served with homemade croutons that just soak up all the lovely pan juices.) and Pan Seared Jumbo Shrimp served over creamy chive & Parmesan risotto and for dessert Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie or Cherry Crisp. OH MY! We LOVED our night. Lori is an amazing cook. HIGHLY recommend this little gem. Be sure to go check them out soon and make your reservation. You will not be sorry. She caters too!
