Just got back from Wilson Lake Inn - and what a wonderful experience. The Inn is extremely clean and has beautiful gardens and set on Wilson Lake. The staff and owners go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. I was picking up a golden retriever puppy and forgot to pack a couple of things and Sue (one of the owners) jumped right in and got me what I needed. I can say that sometimes you stay in a nice place but it lacks customer service - the Wilson Lake Inn is not one of those places. It is nice to see that they "get" customer service. The Inn does not have the typical "free breakfast" - but I see that as a plus. I have had way to many "free breakfasts". There is a place about 3 minutes from the Inn (Law Mountain Wreaths N' Bakery) that has the best scones, eggs/bacon, etc. I actually went there twice. Would stay here again.

This is a terrific place to stay - very friendly, knowledgeable owner and staff. The rooms are extra clean and comfortable. There are some great places to eat less than five minutes to stay. I absolutely would stay here again.

The Wilson Lake Inn is located several Kms from Wilton on the edge of Wislon Lake. It is a beautiful setting with large gardens. That is the best thing that it has going for it other than the owners who were lovely people willing to assist with whatever was needed.

As for the Inn or Motel itself, best described as an average country motel of dubious quality. The room was small, fittings of low quality and decor was poor. The bed was of a low standard. The room lacked furniture but was what you would find in a one star motel.

Price was expensive for the quality delivered. Not recommended

The owners are fantastic and the overall experience was relaxing and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and very affordable. But the location, on a quiet, pristine lake, that you reach by strolling through a lovely garden, can't be beat. Only wish I'd had time for a canoe ride. It's a good excuse to go back!

Room Tip: The end room at the back is quiet and has a lovely view over the gardens.
