Lots of fun if you like racing . We go weekly and take the whole family . Food and ear plugs are on sale there . Always bring warm clothes for when the sun goes down . Only $5.00 to get in .

A nice short track experience. Good concessions and stands for an older track. The restrooms could use a little updating.

My family has been racing here for decades and most of my summers were spent here every single weekend. I've always been a huge fan and every person I have met seems to fall in love with the place.

I honestly think this is the best thing to do in the summer in Wiscasset. Most tourists spend their time eating at Red's or antiquing and I'm hopeful that this hidden gem will someday get the attention it deserves.

Racing season starts in the beginning of April and goes through the beginning of October. Most races start on Saturday nights at 6pm with the exception of a Sunday featuring a big race or a possible rain date. The whole race usually lasts anywhere from 3-6 hours depending on what sort of events play out.

Admission is also extremely cheap at $5 a person (6-under FREE), can't beat it for a few hours of exhilarating fun for the whole family!

I've been going to the track for pretty much my whole life and here are some tips I have learned.

Always bring a sweater and blanket. The track is always a little windy and it's Maine so it can be downright cold sometimes plus the blanket is some padding for your butt if it's not that cold. Those benches can numb your butt after a couple hours!

Bring bug spray! Mid summer in Maine is a field day for mosquitoes!

I honestly feel the greatest view of the track is on turn 1 (Left side, all the way down) and it's probably the loudest, and usually the grandstands down there are not crowded at all.

For people who have not been here I can tell you right now it will be extremely fun and something totally different to try. The whole crew that put on the show every weekend are amazing people.

Just for a little taste of what you can expect to see at Wiscasset Speedway.
