I stopped at this hotel and was very pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff was extremely nice. He offered me fresh cookies and fruit, explained where the pool, fitness room and business room were located. Rooms were large, clean. Bathrooms were a good size and stocked well. Breakfast was very good- included hot and cold items. Lobby was very pretty- had books and magazines you could read in your room and return. Very welcoming and cozy hotel.

This hotel is the best one of its chain that we've ever stayed at. The staff was all very friendly and helpful in suggesting places to see and even pointing them out on the map. The rooms and lobby had been remodeled and were very clean, and the continental breakfast had one of the largest selections we've seen of any similarly priced chain. It was located 15 or so minutes away from the naval base near many restaurants.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. The hotel has a indoor pool and hot tub which were nice. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Great value for the price!

I'd highly recommend this Hotel. The staff was extremely nice, and very helpful especially with recommendations on sights and eateries. They were Spot On!! The Hotel rooms were extremely roomy!! The beds were very comfortable!! The complimentary breakfast buffet was plentiful, fresh, and DELICIOUS!! This location is located within a short distance of Solomons Island so you don't have to pay Resort prices.

Having returned back to visit Sothern Maryland after a number of years, boy has the area changed! Booked this motel after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed. After a hectic few days in DC in the Embassy Suites, this motel was a breath of fresh air. The rooms, like the rest of the motel were 'squeaky' clean. We travelled with a 'troop' of 16-21 year olds who all seemed moderately impressed, which means the motel must have been good! Ok, the location is probably the only thing you could make a teeny-weeny criticism about, being sat on the end of the mall adjacent to a gas station and you do need to drive to eat out, but that really is cutting it fine and I would stay here again without question.

The breakfast buffett consisted of cereals, pastries, waffles, fruit, eggs, bacon, patties etc and fuelled up the kids without complaint, so gets a big thumbs up. We made excellent use of the small exercise room, indoor pool and hot tub, each of which was spotless and were in full working order!

The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms a decent size, but keep any small children away from the toilet, they have a flush powerful enough to send a small infant into the sewage system! (I jest, but they sure do 'whoosh!).

Finally, the staff were as friendly as the motel was refreshing. So nice after some of the rather impersonal service we had in DC. Keep it up team it makes a difference and we (the customers) really do appreciate it - Thanks, hope we see you again soon!

Firstly, it's a beautiful hotel. We were shocked at how gorgeous the hotel and rooms were. Wow. Whoever the interior designer is, s/he is awesome. It looked like an upscale hotel. Rooms were beautiful, clean, big and quiet. The first issue was our bathroom wasn't cleaned, but the cleaning lady quickly fixed that. In our group, another person was originally checked into a room that wasn't cleaned ... weird, but the hotel staff moved them to a clean room. The next potential problem did not happen due to a very polite hotel manager. We were put next to the conference room, which had a huge, loud party going on until 12am. But the mgr moved us. Everything else was great. Rooms were quiet. Breakfast was outstanding and I have a gluten intolerance, and I found things to eat: eggs, fruit, milk, tea. Then check-out came -- the kid checking us out was rude and wouldn't let us go ahead of a huge group checking out w/ bill problems. So it kind of ended on a bad note ... HOWEVER, I filled out the survey sent to my email and told them of the probs and the manager wrote me personally, apologized and then I received another email with a 30% discount the next time I stay at a Country Inn and Suites! Wow, they really care :-) So a great experience, but I recommend pre-paid, so you can save money and avoid check-out all together.

Stayed here for a work trip to Pax River. Hampton Inn is my preferred hotel. This place was clean and nice, average breakfast (although i've never seen fried chicken patties served at breakfast and microwave eggs until that visit), all and all large/pretty rooms. Main disadvantages: further from Pax River and paper thin walls. i could hear the guest next to me walking in their room, caughing and watching TV... ALL NIGHT! He wasn't even that loud, all sound just traveled through the walls. anyhow, awful night of sleep (or lack there of). i said yes for recommending but am more on the fence with this. Definitely don't stay here if the Hampton Inn is available...
