The line of four people in front of us at check in took at least 20 minutes to get through. We checked in at approx. 5:30 pm and our room wasn't ready yet. I can't imagine if we had gotten there at 3, when check in begins. We were told we had to wait for our room to be finished cleaning, so we took our keys and went to wait in the hall by our room. The housekeeping staff was very kind and helpful, and let us know that they were almost done. Then I got a call from the front desk saying they were changing our room to a different floor. They brought me the key and helped me take my luggage there, only to find they were attempting to give me a room that others in our party had checked out of the night before, because there air conditioner leaked all over the room to the point where the carpet was soaked and the entire room smelled of mildew. They assured me that it had been thoroughly cleaned since that morning. I refused the room, and they found me another on the same floor. Upon arriving in the room, I found several small items on the "freshly vacuumed" floor, including a dead stink bug. There were open spaces on the wall with exposed screws where a picture clearly once hung, but was just bare now. I can see why they have issues with their air conditioners leaking, as they appear to be from the 1970's. I worked at a Ramada in the late 90's and the decor, bathroom, and furniture were better updated there, and then, than in this one. A friend staying in another room reported seeing mold on the wall.

The pool was very nice. We didn't eat breakfast, as we had been warned by others that the cereal was stale and it offered little other besides boxed pastries.

This its the second time we've stayed at this hotel to take advantage of their Park 'N Fly offering. Advantages vs. some others:
- can keep your car there 10 days for free (some others start charging after fewer days)
- shuttle operates every 30 minutes, 24 x 7 (some others don't start until after 5 or 6 AM.

We have stayed at this hotel many times while traveling. This time we found it to be in some need of repair. WE were very disappointed that the restaurant was closed. A shuttle to a restaurant off the property is a poor choice for a couple that is staying at the hotel to catch a flight early in the morning. We will not stay at this hotel again.

Thank you for your review, though we are sorry that the closure of Olde Towne Inn restaurant so negatively impacted your stay. We are quickly trying to get the equipment operational in our kitchen again as it was an unexpected problem we needed to get rectified. We do hope that you enjoyed your offsite meal and that you had safe and pleasant travels. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope you will return so we can make it up to you.
