It's wonderful to hear that you're always a fan of our food, Peggy. That said, I'm bummed that it didn't meet the price point for you. We do hope that the passion and attention we put into our cooking makes our dishes worth every penny, but we know that this is ultimately something our guests will decide. We'll be sure to consider your feedback in that area as we move forward, but in the meantime, we sure hope to get the chance to serve you a tasty meal again soon!
All the best,
Benny Blue

Been going to the Breakfast Shoppe for years...it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, and portions are big! We have literally never had a bad meal - ever. The staff is super friendly and attentive...service has never been bad for us.
As popular as it is....there is typically a wait, depending on the time you arrive - obviously much more so on the weekend. They don't take reservations so keep that in mind.
Only other "negative" would be that it can get pricey if you tend to like to customize or make substitutions. There are surcharges for most any type of substitution or extra to a meal. And make note that their juices are fresh squeezed....delicious, but not cheap. (Had friends with small children who ordered OJ for them, and had the $4 glass of juice left half full or ignored...)
The positives far outweigh any negatives, though - no doubt about that. Would eat there every day if we could...:)
Hope, it's such a treat to hear the breakfast can always offer a tasty meal! It's wonderful the service is always friendly, too, though I'm sorry if the wait is frustrating at times. I'll be sure to keep that in mind along with your other feedback, and I hope to see you back in before long!
Best wishes,

Went to breakfast with friends who have dietary preferences ranging from vegetarian to paleo/low carb. Breakfast Shoppe had it all..paleo omelet with maple sausage, peppers and a side of bacon. Florentine eggs Benedict with spinach, onions and the best fried red tomatoes I have ever tasted. Low carb breakfast with eggs, side of bacon and sausage, more fried red tomatoes and fruit plus delicious cappuccino! Plus oatmeal, real fresh ripe fruit bowls, yogurt and pancakes or waffles. No limits on mixing and matching....the perfectT sport for breakfast! Not cheap..avg. $13-14 per person...but a meal so filling you might skip lunch!
Thank you so much for being such a fan of what we do here -- we really do believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it looks like you agree! We always strive to make sure that our menu has something for everyone, and it definitely looks like we really managed to achieve our goal -- I'm just thrilled to see that everyone in your group was able to find the perfect dish for them!
Hope to see you again soon,

On our way to Delaware and before crossing the Bay Bridge we wanted to find somewhere to have a brunch. Stopped in about 11am and had gravy and biscuits with home fries and an egg. It was all good and cooked to order. Service was good. The only con I found was I thought it was a little pricey, $30 for two people for gravy and biscuits etc. Probably wouldn't do it again, not because it wasn't a pleasant experience but the price factor.
It's awesome to hear that you enjoyed your meal with us so much! It sounds like you guys ordered well -- you can't go wrong with biscuits and gravy. With that said, I'm bummed that you didn't feel the price points matched the food. We're known for our quality cooking and freshness, and we hope that makes everything worth every penny. However, we know that this is ultimately up for our guests to decide, so we'll be sure to keep your feedback in mind as we move forward. With that said, we sure do hope you'll consider joining us again sometime.

Stopped in for breakfast
I had the eggs Benedict. They were so-so
Too much sauce and not a real English muffin.
ALSO - the home fries had way to much pepper. SOS. Help the cook !!
I won't be back !!!!
We're sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your eggs Benedict as much as we would have hoped, Barry -- it's definitely a real favorite in our kitchen, so you can imagine how disappointed I was to see that you weren't a huge fan. We definitely always strive to create the tastiest dishes possible, and I apologize if this was not quite in line with your expectations.
We'd love for you to give us another opportunity to prove just how great we truly are, and I know you will not be disappointed.
Regards,
Benny Blue
