Decent accommodation at a good price
Room was not entirely clean but the bed was, which was key to us
Close to the hotel is a great supermarket where one can eat too, making this a very convenient location to see Boston for two days without paying the horrendous hotel and parking fees within Boston.
Takes about 25 min to get into Boston with a car.
Can recommend to anyone who watches their budget.

Stayed here a few years ago, but this time was disappointing. It's an old motel. Peeling paint and wall paper. No amenities to speak of. There was a refrigerator but no coffee or microwave. Beds are ok but older. Sheets had a couple small stains. A/C worked well. Bathroom is ok but again old. No tub, just a shower, which is small but works. Customer service isn't great. Office has limited hours and the people aren't the most friendly, but not horrible. Boston is about 1 hour away via bus/subway. Compared to Boston prices it's reasonable, but still don't feel like you get what you pay for.

We check in to an entryway with tattered carpeting and plexiglass so you can slip your money under the opening and they'll pass your key.....guess that's for insecure after-hour check-ins..? We go to our room and while I'm throwing back the sheets to tell him the sheets are stained, he's yelling from the bathroom.
that he just killed a roach. Needless to say, we didn't stay. While I'm on my phone trying to find another hotel, he discovers the picturesque view of retired appliances of all kinds out the back window......I'm so sorry, but what a dump!!!

The motel is all you can ask for at a budget price. It's situated in a quiet neighbourhood. There was a forest outside my back window. The room has a refrigerator and a microwave oven - very convenient. There were no issues with the daily maid service. Free WiFi internet is available, but it was very slow. You can get a free coffee and pastry from the office in the morning. The road in front of the motel is busy on weekday mornings, so exiting can be a bit tricky. Using the subway is an easy and convenient way to move around Boston. The Alewife subway station (at the end of the Red line) is a 15-30 minute drive away. It has a parking tower, costing $7.00 a day. A 7-day link pass on a paper ticket is a bargain at $21.75, for unlimited subway and bus travel for a week.

This motel has been around, clearly they try to keep it in sufficient condition--it is as clean as possible, the TVs are new, fridge and mic good...but it's old. The rooms have a musky scent, the bed spreads have cigarette burns, the shower stalls are strange. Also, the free wi-fi is quite spotty. Also, the staff at the desk was oblivious to courtesy. If you just need a place to crash for an affordable price, it will surely do. However, if you are looking for surrounds that make you feel special, this isn't your kinda place!

Room tip: If you can afford to pay twice as much, head to Concord!
