We are local to the area and eat at Eastwind often. Usually, have the fish sandwich substituting the french fries with onion rings. But this time I had the fish and chips, again substituting with onion rings. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. The onion rings are made there and also perfect! Martha had the chowder which was thick and delicious. She also had an excellent stuffed quahog which they prepare in a special way.
Do not confuse this restaurant with the "Eastwind" at the other end of Buzzards Bay. This is the one just off the rotary at the North end of the Bourne Bridge.
