We are local to the area and eat at Eastwind often. Usually, have the fish sandwich substituting the french fries with onion rings. But this time I had the fish and chips, again substituting with onion rings. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. The onion rings are made there and also perfect! Martha had the chowder which was thick and delicious. She also had an excellent stuffed quahog which they prepare in a special way.

Do not confuse this restaurant with the "Eastwind" at the other end of Buzzards Bay. This is the one just off the rotary at the North end of the Bourne Bridge.

1st time here even though we live in the area. We were not disappointed. Greeted and quickly attended to by Earlene. She was friendly and engaging but we were the only ones there so there was time for that. GREAT Seafood Platter for one but that's all the two if us can eat. They even offered for a slight upcharge to substitute the CAPE Scallops instead if the usual. The seafood was great and lightly battered. Delicious! We will most definitely visit again.

We've been there twice for lunch and it was okay. Not suitable for a special occasion. Food is "good" and prices are average. My husband liked the clam chowder and the fried clams. Don't go for the view!. Looks out on a busy traffic circle.

The seafood is always fresh! The price is fair but a little on the high side. Tables are comfortable and the service is good. Consider the scallop plate in September when they scallops are harvested.

We visited Eastwood on a cool rainy September day. The fried shrimp and crab cake were both excellent, but hard to believe, the service was even better. Best meal we had on the Cape!
