Description: Fin,chef owned and located in the heart of Dennis Village, serves creative, contemporary seafood and more. We feature the best in locally sourced food including oysters from Dennis and produce, in season, from numerous farms across the Cape like CapeAbilities, Surrey Farm and Cape Cod Organics. We are on 6A in a 200 plus year old house with dining up and downstairs and conveniently next door to the Cape Playhouse complex. The menu changes seasonally to showcase the areas offerings and while our focus is primarily on seafood we also offer organic beef and poultry.

All in all, quite pleasant.
The seafood was excellent, service not bad. But, their wine list is in need of major improvement. Unfortunately, they do not allow guests to bring their own wine. (This may be a factor of Mass. law.) That makes it all the more critical that the restaurant add some better quality wine to their list. Hope they do!

Went to Fin for the first time tonite. I had the seared scallops & my wife had the sirloin steak. Both meals were seasoned & cooked to perfection. The atmosphere of the restaurant is wonderful with small individual dining rooms. Our waiter Riley was very personable and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We will be back.

Fin is close to the Cape Cod Playhouse and would be a nice place for a pre-theater meal. You would almost definitely need a reservation (or ensure a wait) if you are going pre-theater since it is an intimate and charming space. We easily found a table when the pre-theater crowd left. The oyster chowder was excellent, sadly, their raw oysters were all sold out by the time we go there. The menu had a wide array of entrees and appetizers (plus a few specials) and a nice selection of white and red wines were listed on the wine list. Pacing of our meal was relaxed, the food was nicely prepared and plated. We sat upstairs, it was nicely decorated and as for table spacing - it was not crowded or overly noisy but we could hear the conversations of the parties next to us. The wait staff and hosts were knowledgeable and professional. A memorable meal on the Cape.

This restaurant is one of the best we've been to on Cape Cod! Located in a small, historic home the decor is modern while the floors are beautiful, old wide pine. Surprisingly, you aren't sitting on top of your neighbors, as is the experience in some restaurants found in historic homes. Instead you feel as if you are an invited guest on a culinary adventure. The menu is innovative with a few Asian hints-I had the delicious salmon entree (with Sesame Wakame Salad, Edamame, Sweet-Spicy Eggplant, Orange-Coriander Reduction, copied from the menu). My husband had the Halibut which was also fabulous. Wine list was impressive and the Roasted Peach dessert was divine! This is now a favorite Cape spot!

We came here with friends from Cape Cod for dinner. We loved the local oysters, but the fish dishes were only average. The sides were interesting, but both my husband and I asked for our fish to be cooked medium rare, and our server told us, snippily, that they would be cooked the way the restaurant wanted to cook them. That would be fine, except that both dishes were, in our opinions, overcooked and this took away from the experience.
