We found this Inn through an Internet search and validated visitor ratings on TripAdvisor before booking. We were very impressed! The Palmer House Inn is an exceptional facility with clean comfortable rooms, very nice grounds/location, delicious breakfasts (the banana nut pancakes are to die for!) and helpful staff. Bill & Pat were always pleasant and willing to assist with anything we asked for .... directions, places to visit ... restaurants. Our room was outstanding with high quality linens, a gas fireplace and a two person jacuzzi tub! This inn is highly recommended for any visit to the Cape or the Islands or a romantic getaway.

Dear Charles H, Thank you for the outstanding review. Our romance package is one of our most popular offerings. It makes a little get away with your partner, just a little more special. We enjoy helping folks to celebrate the significant events in their lives. Always, Bill & Pat

When you stay at the Palmer House Inn, you feel so relaxed and pampered. The Innkeepers make you feel at home, and make sure that everything is to your liking. The breakfast is terrific, served always with a smile by Pat, our lovely hostess, and Bill our host. They enjoy making your stay there a memorable one. We are already planning to return soon for more pampering! Enjoy, you won't regret staying here! Thank you to our lovely hosts Pat and Bill for 4 wonderful days! We'll be back!

Dear Susan O, Many thanks for the excellent review. We are very happy that you had a good time. Falmouth is a charming year round community. You chose to visit in the spring when the flowers are blooming. We have cherry and apple trees in our gardens that are quite beautiful this time of year. We look forward to your next visit. Fondly, Bill & Pat

We stayed at the Palmer Inn for our 1st Anniversary, and most recently, our 15th. Once again, it was charming, cozy and personal. Inn Keepers Bill & Pat even left us a bottle of champagne at turn down accompanied by a sweet chocolate treat. Breakfast was delicious the next morning as well! A quiet little romantic getaway! Lovely!

loved it! stayed there and felt like we stepped back into victorian times. nicely decorated. very clean. great location, short walk to downtown. bed was comfortable. quiet surroundings (stayed in the cottage out back), loved the breakfast. especially the baked apple! enjoyed afternoon tea in the parlor with the relaxing music playing. love that they are tuned into detail: waters in your room. bag for clothes you wore. bathrobes, what to do and see info, afternoon tea, stamped postcards that you can leave for them to mail, let us use the room for an extra hour since there was nobody coming in and not busy season, rooms in the main house, that are not rented have doors open which makes it fun to roam around and look. pat & bill are very hospitable. this was my 3rd trip and will be back!

Room Tip: we rented the cottage, which is set back from the road.

Dear Screetie, Thank you for taking the time to write this fabulous review. We are happy that you had a good time. We delight in our guest's delight. The cottage is one of our most popular accommodations. We are currently in the process of doing some upgrading in that building. Our plan is to make it even more pleasant and comfortable for great guests like you. Fondly, Bill & Pat

This is our 3rd stay at the Palmer House. We stay at the small cottage in the back. They let us bring our dogs! My sister and I brought our 2 nieces for a special auntie/niece weekend. The theme of the weekend was to relax and get away from technology and the business of life. the room was very clean and cozy and comfortable. We walked in the gardens on the property which was well maintained. We had tea and coffee in the parlor which the girls loved as we told them about what life was like in the old days with having to sit around and talk with each other with no tv and phones. They loved hearing the stories. They loved taking a tour of all the rooms. They were so excited about breakfast which was delicious and just enough food. The room was decorated nicely and sunny and airy. Pat took her time to answer all our questions and told us a great story about a doll that was found in the basement of the historical society that sold for one million dollars. The girls loved the hot tub and said the bed was very cozy. The dogs enjoyed walking the gardens as well and slept very well! In the am we decided to take a nice stroll to the historical society which was right next door. The theme of the weekend was just slow down and relax..not hurrying around. So..walked around the gardens in the historical society which are beautiful. Unfortunately, it was not open but we plan on coming back to stay during the week for their early Tuesday historical walks around the common. The girls are excited to find out more about the way life was back then after staying in a historical home. The innkeepers are there just enough..not too much...so you really can relax and enjoy their property. Lots of nice touches. We love the location..an easy walk to downtown..but away from the busyness of it all so we can go back and time and just relax. I highly recommend a stay at the Palmer Inn. My nieces can't wait to go back! and the dogs!

Many thanks for your fantastic review. We have already had folks call who have read your review and say that they "just have to stay" in that wonderful cottage. It is already a popular accommodation but your review has made it even more desirable. We are looking forward to your next visit, Bill & Pat
