My husband, two teenager daughters, and I spent one night at the Seaside Inn in Falmouth. The pros: great location just footsteps from the beach, right next store to a great pub, The British Beer Company. The exterior is very attractive with traditional Cape Cod architecture, shingles, picket fence, lovely flowers, and a small outside terrace. The room was fairly large and bright with standard beachy decor that was predictable but tasteful. We had a kitchenette with a small fridge, a sink, and a microwave. The cabinets had dishes and some cutlery and there was a tiny coffee machine. The AC worked great and the shower was very hot and had good water pressure. The person at the office who checked us in was very welcoming. Now for the cons: the double beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and all of us tossed and turned and woke up achy and irritable. Our mattress had zero support so that my husband's weight (and he's a normal, average-sized person) made the mattress sag and I kept rolling into him, like we were in a ditch. There was also just one very lumpy, small pillow per person and the bedspreads were faded and limp. It was a non-smoking room, but I could definitely detect a faint odor of cigarettes in the room. Also, the linoleum where the kitchenette was had a slightly sticky film on it and the rug also seemed to have some sort of residue (hopefully from a cleaning product). None of us were comfortable walking barefoot. There were no screens on the front windows which was a shame--I wanted to keep them open to enjoy the ocean breeze but didn't want to have bugs coming in. One other thing to mention is that at about 6 a.m. a group of women gathered on the beach outside for a morning workout. Good for them, but annoying to hear them talking and laughing and grunting as they exercised--don't they know how voices carry? This inn could be SO much better with few updates--better mattresses and bedding at the very least.

Room Tip: Try to get an upper floor facing the beach.

Right across the street from the beach. Stayed in room 108 which has kitchenette
Which was sink, apt fridge, toaster, coffee maker, kitchen tables and chairs. Has plates and utensils

Bathroom as average size and clean.
Staff was pleasant
No WiFi
Small flat screen TV
Shared balcony with chairs. Bummer is the railing blocks some of your view of the beach and not private
British beer company attached to motel
10 minute walk to Martha's vineyard ferry and 5-10 minute drive to downtown Falmouth
Walls pretty soundproof!

If your looking for a place to relax and enjoy the scenery and beach this is a great place to stay

Room Tip: Room 108 or 106

Our family stays here each year for the Falmouth road race weekend. The inn is located right after the finish line and is great if you or someone in your group is running in the race. The people who work there are very accommodating and do everything they can to make your stay more enjoyable. It is not the most up to date place and does have thin walls in some of the rooms. There is a small courtyard area with chairs and a couple benches that is good for sitting and relaxing with a larger group. The AC in our room was pretty loud and the TV was very old which made for a tough time trying to go to sleep watching TV.

Bring right across the street from the beach and having a park right next door is very convenient. They do have two pet friendly rooms and if you bring your furry friend or your kids you have a place to play right next door. The British Beer Company shares the front of the building as well and that is a decent place to grab a burger. You can even order pizza from the BBC and pick it up.

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms are a bit quieter and offer good views.

Spent two nights at the seaside inn and would not recommend this hotel. The basic rooms are very small, no fridge, no amenities. They do not even offer beach chairs. No breakfast. Rude at the front desk. Cheap plastic chairs outside the motel rooms. On the plus side the hotel is directly across the street from the Beach. Do yourself a favor and stay just down the road at the Admirality. they have beautiful rooms with flat screen tv, morning breakfast, pool and plenty of lounge chairs around the property. They have a laundry room and a vending machine for drinks and snacks.

We just completed our first visit to the Cape and spent 2 nights at Seaside Inn. Nothing special about the inn. This is an old facility and well kept. The air condtitioning unit was horrible. Too loud. There was a family of 6 staying above us and the 4 children were RUNNING all the time. Between the noisy a/c and noise above us, very difficult to get a good rest each night. The partial view was a look into the back of the resturaunt connected to the inn. Noise from kitchen fans ruined the view.
Some positives though. Resturuant was great and right on Falmouth Beach. Just walk across street. Wonderful beach and glorious ocean views once you cross the street.

Room Tip: Book the upper floor to avoid noise. Try to obtain a FULL ocean view room. Partial view NOT worth it.
