Really enjoyed our tour. Cynthia was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She gave lots of history on our walking tour and took us to some great spots

We had a fabulous time on the Cape Ann Foodie Tour! We were in Gloucester for a girl's weekend and this tour was terrific! Our tour guide, Marietta, met us at the Harbor Loop and right away we knew she was very knowledgeable and funny! There were 8 of us and we walk the entire downtown and stopped for chowder and bacon wrapped in scallops, a sandwich, cannoli, fish and chips, and some locally brewed beer and of course some homemade candy. We had been in Gloucester before but missed all the history and the hidden gems. This tour provided all it advertised and more.

We had Cape Ann Foodie organize a client event with history, great lobster rolls and a fantastic boat tour around the harbor! our Clients are still talking about what a great time it was for all!

Spent a wonderful spring afternoon on the first Taste of Newburyport of the season, with Cape Ann Foodiie Tours. Owner Cindy Hendrickson does a wonderful tour of culinary high lights, historical knowledge of the city, and some fun backstory, all while interacting with the group as we walked around Newburyport. Our group started out at the legendary Grog, right on time. They featured the perfect cup of clam chowder, and cooked to perfection scallops wrapped in bacon. The group moved right along to a stop at the Tannery, where a local farmers market was in full session, we stopped in at the Chococoa baking company for a twist on their famous whoopee pies. Bite sized and delicious! On to the Olive Oil company where we got to sample a great selection of oils and balsamics, Not to give all the secret venues away but we sampled some other great appetizers and views along the way. Wrapped up the afternoon, with our host at Salt Cellar reflecting with a glass of wine and camaraderie. I would recommend this tour to anyone of any age group, and would love to take in another tour that Cindy does in Gloucester. Cheers and bon appetite!

My husband and I have been on 4 other foodie tours in other locations, but this by far, is the best. Cindy, our host, had a wealth of knowledge about Gloucester and Cape Ann - its history, culture and anecdotes. We enjoyed her pleasant attitude. Now, for the food - it was outstanding! Everything Gloucester is known for was covered, such as scallops wrapped in bacon, clam chowder, fisherman's sandwich, locally brewed beer, homemade chocolate turtles, and more! It is difficult to find many venues open off-season, so we felt fortunate in being able to participate in this tour at the end of February. This is a "Don't Miss If You Are in Gloucester" event!
