We have been going to Il Maestro since the 1980's. We have never, ever had a bad meal at this restaurant at either location. It is one of our favorite places to dine out on Cape Cod. We have lived on the Cape since the early 1970's and we have been to many, many restaurants as we dine out frequently. We eat here year round and always dine here before a concert at the Melody Tent. And on snowy nights in the winter. with a cozy table in the bar area. The "newer" location in the brick marketplace is a beautiful room with coffered ceilings and an attached solarium dining area. Renee makes a perfect and ample cocktail and Michael's family recipes are wonderful. We visit Manhattan 3 or 4 times a year and would compare this restaurant with any Italian restaurant that we have dined at in Manhattan. Becco, La Masseria, Patsy's, Nocello, Orso, Felidia, Il Mulino, Isle of Capri, you name it. We have not had a better meal at any of these restaurants. It is a shame that there are so many "suspicious" reviews of restaurants on Tripadvisor by possible competitors. Thank you Michael and Renee for great dining experiences at Il Maestro.
