“Recommend to Brits !”
Reviewed 14 November 2011

Had a lovely 3 nt break here in late September.Very clean room and peaceful location .Easy walk to Main st(5 mins) and the same to Spankys Clam shack and Black Cat restaurants.5 mins walk to ferries to Marthas Vineyard.
Excellent continental self serve breakfast. Owners were extremely helpful- gave travel advice every day with leaflets and sat-nav references./booked and collected our ferry tickets !They even loaned us a small laptop for our stay .
We were upgraded to a self catering room which might suit a family better.

Would definately stay here again and recommend to all Brits visiting Hyannis.

Room Tip: Choose a self catering room on 2nd floor overlooking park

Even before arriving, we experienced great helpfulness from the SeaCoast Inn and our 6 night stay there didn’t disappoint. Just to be clear, this is a basic looking two level motel with thin walls, plain furnishings, no views, no pool, no garden surrounds. It’s in central Hyannis easy walking distance to main street restaurants and easy walking to ferry terminals. We used it as a base for exploring Cape Cod and for this purpose would recommend it unreservedly. The hosts are so affable and helpful that it felt more like a B&B with private rooms than a motel. Terri was a great source of advice and tips (and maps) on seeing the area. Together Terri and Al manage to do it all - dispense travel advice, keep the breakfast room humming, check people out, answer the phone, help guests out with almost anything (in our case a forgotten charger cable) - all at the same time and always with great equanimity. Bravo. We had a clean and comfortable small efficiency room with bar fridge, microwave, sink and 2 hotplates. Free wi-fi always worked well. The breakfast room is small but bright with good provisions. There is a user-friendly washer & dryer for guest use. In short, we wanted for nothing except more time on Cape. Loved it.

What appears to be a fairly standard motel in a good location in Hyannis, close to the town centre deserves top marks as you get a lot for your money and the the guys on the front desk are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and very comfortable for the 3 nights we were there. Al and Terri were very informative on what to do and where to go both around town and the Cape. They really made you fell at home. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended

We chose the Seacoast inn based on the Tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. The Managers were friendly, and brewing us a coffee when we checked in was typical of "that little bit extra" they provided. The rooms were great, as were the breakfasts. And when we checked out Al kindly offered to drive us to the bus station, again much appreciated. I agree with Linkphilly's review "Some managers at high dollar places could come to Al & Terry's to learn how to treat their guests."

I am so glad I read these reviews before we went out to Cape Cod for the first time. It was the end of the season at Cape Cod, but Al and Terry were wonderful in helping with activities planning there. They helped us planned a whale watching trip (at the best price). They pointed out interesting areas to explore. We were able to see quite a lot of Cape Cod in 3 days.
The location of this inn is excellent...close to Main Street and Hyannis port. The room was clean with a kitchenette. Since it was end of the season, the price was unbeatable especially with the type of hospitality and service at this inn.
I am glad we did not stay at a fancy resort and decided to stay here at the last minute. We hope to be back!

A friend and I had a wonderful stay here last week. Rooms were clean and having a kitchenette was an extra added touch. Terri and Al were just awesome - helpful, always ready with suggestions, maps and menus- and willing to supply any extras - pillows, towels etc. Enjoyed the breakfasts and the hospitality. Would definitely stay anytime and would gladly recommend to anyone. (Only thing I didn't like was the bright lights at night from the building next door but that was not under the control of the hotel. - they do have curtains to lessen the effect.)
