I've been going to The Harvest Grille since they opened in Sterling and after they moved to Jefferson.
Tim and Susan are really nice people who care about their customers, have a lot of experience in the restaurant business and do a great job with a wide range of offerings and daily specials, including gluten free and vegetarian choices. Susan makes most of the desserts and Tim and Brendan work out the specials. Their staff are very nice and try to make their customers happy.
It's true that they had to work out some logistics with moving to a much larger facility but they have been mostly worked out now. And, they have maintained their focus on and continually provided a high-end selection of meat and fish offerings in both their lunch and dinner menus as well as their daily specials. I've attached pictures of just some of what I've tried: Haddock Francese, Haddock Fish and Chips, Brendan's Mile High Meatloaf and Salmon Encrusted with Panko served with Horseradish Sauce.
Missing pictures: Blackened Haddock with Hollandaise Sauce and Sweet Potato Fries, Steak Au Poivre and Tim's great selection of soups (Clam Chowder and his gumbo are my 2 favorites!).
If you want some excellent fish, Angus Steak prepared your way, Clam Chowder that beats Legal Seafood (IMO) and owners who will greet you and work to give you the experience you want, treat yourself to a visit; especially lunch for an even more personal experience. And don't forget Susan's desserts; seasonal as well as original offerings.
