We stayed at the Devonfield for 3 nights with our 3-month-old over the MLK holiday weekend. Our stay was perfect: got a good deal for a king-bed room from Booking.com and Bruce the innkeeper graciously upgraded us to the Westinghouse Suite which was more spacious and comfortable for the three of us. The room was warmly decorated. The bed clean and comfy. The bathroom had a good supply of towels and what we liked most was the hand-shower in addition to the shower head. The sitting room was spacious and great for relaxing after a day's out. The candle-lit breakfast served at the dinning room offered a different "main course" each morning - we had egg & sausage, French toast and quiche - all freshly cooked and delicious. Also enjoyed the complimentary drinks (cognac and liqueurs) at night in the living room.
The Inn itself has a lot of history and is tastefully furnished (guess I can call it "Berkshire elegance"?) Innkeepers Bruce and Ronnie and their assistant Kim were all very welcoming and helpful. The surrounding ground was beautiful and peaceful to walk even when covered in snow. Would love to go back in summer time when the leaves turns green and the swimming pool opens.More
