We thought so too, until we ate here.

Bland food, undercooked rice, over priced. Nice waitstaff, though...they were kind enough to replace my undercooked brown rice with undercooked white rice.

If locally sourced is what you want, go to stone hearth pizza in Belmont instead.

Weoften visit Lexington to catch a movie at the wonderful small theater, The Venue. We have always found the restaurant options in Lexington, like many suburban New England towns, a bit tired. This month, however, we found Nourish after running into some friends at the movie and joining up for dinner.

This place is a really nice option for an informal dinner. The menu is extensive enough that pretty much everyone from a vegan to a committed carnivour can find a pretty satisfying meal. At our table for example we had a small pizza, a chicken pesto sandwhich, a stir fry and a fafallal salad. Everyone seemed quite happy with their choice.
If I were visiting lexington with kids I would think you find the menu fine for all (there are burgers and pizza). This would be a nice place to break from touring with a family.

The space is nice, it's pretty spacisous with an open bar. There are a variety of seating options from high tables to booths to regular tables to counters. The atmosphene seems warm and inviting. There is a full bar and there appeared to be a nice range of wine options by the glass and several microbrews.

All in all, we were really pleased with this new option in Lexington. It is definitely not destination fine dining but is is certainly very nice for a wide range of casual situations with healthy food. Just what Lexington needed! We will be back.

We were looking for a place to meet friends over Thanksgiving weekend and settled on this place...found it online! We are all from out of town but were visiting family in Boston area. Nourish had great food, fun menu selections, complete beverage menu with upscale wines and beers. We were there with kids and teens and they were pleased with menu selection as well. Highlight for me was a terrific salad with beets and feta, but a friend had the burger, another the wrap and one the veggie entree and all were really happy.

Went here with a party of 7, sitting at the bar and getting a late lunch. The service at the bar is excellent, and from our vantage point it seemed like all the tables were being served promptly as well.

There's an interesting selection of organics, vegan and vegetarian meals here. They have a knack for secretly making delicious meals incredibly healthy at the same time. The quality, local ingredients do drive up the prices slightly though, so be prepared.

Stir fry, pasta, local protein, and plenty of inventive vegetable dishes are available. Yet the red meat fan will not go hungry with plenty of ribs, burgers and fries. The burgers are a little on the average-tasting side, but with generous portioning.

Check out some of the creative drinks from the bar too! Some fun takes on martinis are to be had here. Big-screen TVs are above the bar only so they're not too distracting. Lots of stained glass dividers and lighting give it a pretty unique feel to the atmosphere.

Definitely a spot we intend to return to.

Nourish has become our go-to restaurant for family outings, satisfying even the family vegan. There's a separate vegan menu and a gluten-free menu as well. And the options on them are tasty!

The non-vegetarian in our group was a little less than thrilled with his steak, which was tiny - just about the size that that the government considers one serving.. But the rest of us had decent-sized portions. They have terrific stirfries and salads and pizzas. A great drink menu, too. They promote locally sourced foods.

Dessert - vegan chocolate cake - was a large portion, but quite a disappointment. after the excellent entrees.

The restaurant is often quite busy on weekends. They have a lot of live music, but you need to be seated in just the right area to hear it. In summer, they have outdoor seating, where you can watch people stroll by. The location is terrific - right in Lexington Center, and there is plenty of parking for a small fee in the municipal lot if you can't find on-street.
