New Pilates and personal training studio just opened between Roche Bros and Oak and Ember restaurant. The immaculate studio is just the right size for small group training. I attended the first boot camp class and it was very challenging, although Joanne always gives options which help her students do their personal best. The class lasted for 1 hour and 15 minutes and was a mix of high impact cardio (always option to go low impact), isometric exercises, and a variety of ab exercises. Throughout the classes, different props are used that include jump ropes, a bar, balance ball, and weighted small balls, so the variety of exercises, props and good music make the class fun and the hour flies by. Bring your sneakers, and change when you get there.
