At over $200 a night with tax, this was pretty lame. The room was dingy and tired, the carpet threadbare. The bathroom was functional, but purely utilitarian.

I understand that people want to use this as a jumpoff point for exploring the Cape, but even spending just nights here would be a disappointing.

The only upside was that the service was great -- the guy running the front desk was friendly and very helpful. He even managed to will a power cord into existence for us!

5 minutes to Nauset Beach. Several restaurants in walking distance. We had a extra large room at the standard price. The motel is older but well maintained and very clean. The owner is very much involved in the operation of the motel and more than helpful with any issues or questions. Room was very quiet as the motel is well off the road.

We booked 2 nights on the hotel's website at the last minute in mid July. The room was clean, large, quiet, and comfortable. It had a small refrigerator and free HBO. There is a small shared porch outside the back door looking into the woods and the pool. We did not use the pool but it looked clean and well maintained. Decor is outdated but did not bother us as we spent little time in the room. For the price and location would definitely stay again.

The motel had a front and back door, both with screen doors, that allowed lovely air flow. The room was large enough to have a table and chairs for writing or snacking as well as a desk for my husband to conduct his online teaching. The pool was just across the lawn, off the rear deck, and was quiet and private, lots of seating/lounging chairs. The staff was friendly and available for extra pillows, towels etc.as well as keeping the room tidy and well stocked each day. The location was perfect for siteseeing anywhere on the Cape and, while on Rte.6,it was always quiet and easy to sleep. We were more than pleased and hope to return again.

Room Tip: We were in room 110 which was perfect for us.

We stayed in one of the historic inn rooms up a steep flight of stairs and decorated with a cute canopy bed. We loved it! The steps are not for the faint of heart, but worth the trek for the quaint rooms (other rooms are all at ground level, easily accessible). Nice location in Orleans, good restaurants and cute shops nearby and an easy drive to beaches (Nauset on the ocean side and Skaket on the bay side). Very helpful and friendly staff gave us some great suggestions and made us feel very welcome.
