I stayed at Church Farm Cottages with my husband, baby, and dogs and am truly happy with my experience. The staff were brilliant, friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The cottages were comfortable and clean, and the pool and games room were a great addition to the holiday. The cottages are a perfect distance to Bath and Bradford-on-Avon. My family and I go to Bath quite a lot for business / holiday and we are looking forward to booking at Church Farm Cottages again soon.

We have just come back from a wonderful mid-week break at Church Farm cottages. The cottages have been converted really well and offer an excellent base for exploring a beautiful part of the world.

Our cottage (Moncrate) had two bedrooms, a good sized bathroom and a lounge/kitchen area which was more than adequate for four adults (myself my wife and our two teenage children).

On site there is also a swimming pool and a really handy games room with table tennis, pool table and table football along with DVD and book library too.

They have put a lot of effort into helping you on rainy days if you can't get out and walk or sightsee etc. We played board games and table tennis etc one afternoon when it was wet but had a brilliant time all the same.

Finally a very handy laundry room was also available to help dry off wet clothes, iron or wash things as needed.

We were also offered a free breakfast at nearby Hartley Farm Shop (well worth a visit anyway) also owned by the same family.

The local pub The Seven Stars is also worth a visit (or three!) the food is amazing and the beer chosen on barrel the week we were there (Cornish Knocker) was heavenly. The friendly services of the staff was a delight too.

Near the cottages, you can walk around Winsley easily enough, you can walk down to the canal and head into beautiful Bradford on Avon or go the other way up to the engineering brilliance of Dundas's aqueduct (there is also one at nearby Avoncliff too). Clever guy.

Bath is nearby via bus or car (buses bring you back late at night too if you fancy a drink and don't want to drive) timetables are in the cottages. Bath is always worth a visit. A mixture of Roman, Georgian and Victorian architecture make it a place to explore. Retail therapy is evident too but all laid out in a tasteful style.

We would highly recommend these cottages and will be planning on returning at some point when diaries allow again.

We stayed here in August for a week in the Staperly' cottage. It was the perfect size for two adults and two children. Whilst the accommodation is on the small size (not surprising given its a converted farm building!), it was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you could need. The location is handy for Bath and Bradford on Avon train station nearby gets you easily into London for the day. On site there is a games room and nice pool, which our kids (11 and 15) enjoyed using. Owner was very friendly and the cream tea on arrival and complimentary breakfast at the nearby farm shop were a nice touch. All in ll, we had a great stay, would highly recommend it and will certainly go back again some time. Many thanks!

We've just enjoyed a lovely break at these cottages. Our welcome was very friendly and included a tour of the games room and pool. The rooms had a complimentary cream tea waiting and we clean and very comfy. The cottages aren't huge but we had 5 in our cottage lounge easily enough.
The kitchen was well equipped and included the main equipment as well as the simple bits like condiments.

Location wise, you're within 30 minutes of Longleat and Bath. There are also lots of lovely villages and other sites to explore.

The neighbouring farm shop has a great range and the village of Winsley has a supermarket and excellent pub (The Seven Stars).

Overall, this was a wonderful stay and I'd recommend these cottages without any hesitation

We had an excellent 4 night stay at the Old Granary. The property is a barn conversion. It was exceptionally clean and well appointed with five bedrooms catering for up to 12 guests. The kitchen had plenty of room including a central kitchen table and a large American style fridge freezer. We really appreciated the gift of scones, clotted cream and milk upon our arrival. There's a large dining area to the front of the property that easily catered for our family group. The living room has Sky TV, and seating for twelve. The Wifi was very helpful as mobile phone reception was inconsistent. The bedrooms had quality bedding and ample storage. The garden has large outside seating and a BBQ. The swimming pool was loved by the kids. The location is great, with many local attractions (E.g. Bath, Longleat Safari, Canals and Bradford Upon Avon). Overall the experience was top class - Thank you Steve, Trish and Tim!
