I was pleased with this hotel. The rooms seemed like they were recently updated. There was no stale smoke smell, either. The room was quiet, large, and nice, with a king-sized bed, and a separate area with a pull-out couch. There was also a refrigerator in the room.
The lobby area has free coffee and tea available all day.
The breakfast in the morning was standard - make-your-own waffles, a large pot of oatmeal, bagels & toast, yogurt, coffee.
The only negative is that there were no bottles of water in the room.
We stayed here as a base for hiking at Mt Greylock - about 25-35 minutes away, depending on the trail.More
