We visited many years ago from NY and I had never heard of the place before!
The Bridge of Flowers is esp. beautiful in the spring and summer. But the natural glacial potholes you could stare at for hours!
The Mole Hollow Candle shop nearby that has beautiful gift items!
And on our why I believe we stopped at a place called The white Marble Quarry; also another beautiful sight to see!

There is a nice viewing platform above the potholes, free to visit. Parking is free all around the little dead end road leading to the potholes. The rocks are very nice colored. The dam above the area seemed a bit cracked and extended by strange poles and wood planks upwards, it did not seemed very stable, it was leaking here and there. There were old pipes in around and along the potholes leaking rusty water to the area.

These glacial features are amazing. Perfectly round as though measured by a machine. Nature continues to surprise...

We stopped by the overlook area to snap a few photos. These glacial potholes in Shelburne Falls on the Deerfield River are at the base of Salmon Falls in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts are always amazing. Salmon used to run up the river here!

The small town offers food and shopping adjacent to the falls.

The Glacial Potholes and the Bridge of Flowers and in close proximity to one another. The visit is very pleasant- worth a detour for the half hour or so you'll spend there. Parking is free and available nearby as is the town of Shelburne Falls-- a typical Western Mass town.
