Owen O'Leary's is definitely underrated, as it is actually quite good. The food is flavorful, the portions are large, and the service is great. The atmosphere is a sort of "Cheers" vibe. The restaurant could use a few updates, however I feel that they are going for a "dive bar" sort of vibe. Great specials every night of the week, including three course meals for $9.99 twice a week. This place is worth checking out.

Just like any 99 Restaurant, with standard sandwiches, salads, and fair-to-middlin' entrees. Big bar scene for area workers, also just like every 99, but beer and drinks are just OK.

No special character is spite of the cutesy Irish name.

Yesterday morning, I heard about Beast Feast on the radio. It was the last day it was being held this year. With a menu full of exotic meats, it sounded very interesting. By evening, we were driving over an hour in rush hour traffic to reach this place. I'm happy to say that we were not disappointed.

The Beast Feast consisted of 4 courses of various meats such as wild boar, elk, alligator, venison. There were more types of meat than I listed but we were only a party of 2 so we couldn't try all of it. Most of it was interesting. The sausage pieces of Course 1 wasn't as interesting as the whole meats of Course 2, 3, and 4. Some items tasted like chicken or pork while others were very hard to describe.

Service was quite friendly and genuine.

Been to the older (original one) many times through the years-good and no so good--Just recently went back- food is better and service is good. Tried the new (second) one down the road and service wasn't that great. Drinks were good.
