My husband and I stayed here for just 3 nights right after our wedding and wish we could've stayed longer! It was the perfect peaceful quietness we were looking for after a hectic few days. We were there the last week of November and we were only 1 of 2 guest rooms, although we hardly saw the other guests, so we felt like we had the whole house to ourselves! I highly recommend the Spring room on the first floor - very romantic using the hot tub, the fireplace kept it perfectly warm, and there is a separate entrance (although we didn't even bother using it). Breakfast was great, and we felt very taken care of by Camillo, Amanda, and Ann. On a rainy day we took advantage of the movie room (although I would recommend to the owners having more couches/love seats so we could've sat together instead of the separate lounge chairs) and we really appreciated all the wine, cheese, and especially the ice cream always available to us! We plan to come back for future anniversary weekend trips!

Thanks so much ! We love to hear from our Honeymooners ! The Spring and Winter rooms are our most favorite picks for the romantic retreats. So happy you made use of our facilities and that our wonderful staff took great care of you both. See you again on your first anniversary ( or before) !

What a wonderful B&B. My husband and I and another couple stayed here for two nights in October in the Fall and Summer rooms. From the moment we arrived Camilo made us feel like it was our home. We enjoyed the wine and cheese, the ice cream, the chocolate treats in our rooms, the wonderful gourmet breakfasts and conversation with the other guests (from all over the world). We especially enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch overlooking downtown Stockbridge and enjoying a glass of wine in the quiet sitting room outside of our rooms. The rooms are filled with antiques and are very clean and the bed was comfortable (soft Frette linens). We will definitely go back for another visit.

Wonderful-right back at you ! So happy you came to us with friends, as we believe our little slice of heaven is a great place to share with friends/family. See you again, and your return will be the supreme compliment to us. Next time, try staying in the Spring and Winter rooms, as I believe you will also love that experience.

We couldn't have been more warmly welcomed to this lovely inn. The attention to detail and comfort was excellent and it was a great plus to be right in the town of Stockbridge. Would definitely return!

I visited 1862 Main in October, 2016, and remember it very fondly. The entire experience -- the staff, the room, the whole inn, the services, the amenities, the guests -- EVERYTHING was exceptional.
The staff was warm, friendly, courteous, accommodating and always available.
The Inn is fairly small, beautifully appointed, very comfortable and highly guest-oriented. It was very well cared for -- a real feeling the owners and staff loved it well.
Services including delicious breakfast, ice cream and fruit available to all guests' at all times, wine, chocolates everywhere were all great! I was particularly impressed when a staff member appeared in the backyard parking lot with umbrella in-hand when it was raining. Unpretentious and very thoughtful!
The room was large and comfy. The bed was large, warm and cozy. Many windows.
Obviously, I highly recommend it.

Thanks so much !! Some reviews are so perfectly written, and yours certainly fits into that category. Our best advice for anyone searching for a B&B, is to please just reread and believe the words in this review ,as they are accurate ,and we promise to do our very best to maintain the 5 star ratings we continue to be blessed to receive. Thanks again .

We selected the 1862 Seasons on Main Inn on a chance and boy are we glad we did. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like old friends and given the run of the house. Obviously I know that this is normal, but the attitude of the staff and the entire building being welcoming, made it much more familiar. The staff were great! The rooms we had and the others that we were able to view, were beautifully decorated in period furniture. The Inn was just as we hoped based on the picture we saw. The bed/room was comfortable and the food, was excellent. Breakfast was a choice from a menu, and cooked to order. We really loved the open and welcoming atmosphere. The availability of a wine and cheese plate in the evening sealed the deal.

We are planning a return trip in the near future.

Room Tip: Plan for the size of your party, but keep in mind you have the entire house plus the media room to use.
