The restaurant sits in a mall that has lots of the stores that I don't have access to whereat I live; Longhorn is the default lunch stop between shops. As it was lunch, I had to forgo some of the extras such as the delish, no bean chili for just under six bucks or the French onion soup that's so yummy. However, we did eat every crumb of the fresh bread that came to the table first. Both entrees came with fresh salads; mine with blue cheese dressing. We both skipped the croutons but cleaned the bowls otherwise.
.
I had the pork porterhouse for $17.29 that came buttery and greasy and with way too much salt, just the way I like it!!! Side of mixed vegs was VERY healthy.
.
Lunch mate had lamb chops for $20.99 with mashed--GREAT mashed, by the way, with spinach on top. They brought half the order home.
.
Waiter Rob did a great job. Beside our table and another next to us, he was tending bar, serving beverages and food to a long line of customers on bar stools. He was really hustling to make sure everyone got the great Longhorn service diners come to expect over the years. We certainly enjoyed meeting him. You'd be lucky if you get one of his tables.
.
Hope to see you here next time we shop and then stop in.

This restaurant is probably one of the worst longhorns around. Every time I've eaten there I feel sick when I leave.

Love this restaurant because the location is near where we do our weekly shopping and the food is delicious. Whether its chowder or a steak and fries, the food is prepared just right! A small serving of fried chips covered in melted cheese is a complimentary addition from the cook! Yum--just enough to satisfy. Love their salad and chowder lunch. Good seafood plates too! Never walked away unsatisfied!!

Can be very busy at times but the wait is worth it!

First off the restaurant was ok, a bit dated. Maybe Longhorn should update the decor. Service was very good. This was the only redeeming value in our experience. We ordered the steak tip dinner and was not happy as the tips appeared as cut pieces of either left over scraps or worse left over meals (inconsistent cooked and tenderness of pieces different). Mashed potatoes were not hot either. Other meal was simple bacon burger but was served sans bacon. Fries were warm, limp but not hot and crispy as expected. When server replaced fries they were none better. We do not plan to visit this or any other Longhorn’s any time soon “thumbs down” IMO.

The wait to be seated was the fastest part of the night. There was none. Beyond that, we waited for everything. We waited for the server... ordered a drink...10 minutes later a warm glass of wine arrived... waited for the salad... the meal came first. Steak and baked potato was just ok. Then came the salad. It was not a good salad and loaded with dressing. The bread was pretty good and waitress was nice. But it was a slow, uncomfortable meal.
