The restaurant sits in a mall that has lots of the stores that I don't have access to whereat I live; Longhorn is the default lunch stop between shops. As it was lunch, I had to forgo some of the extras such as the delish, no bean chili for just under six bucks or the French onion soup that's so yummy. However, we did eat every crumb of the fresh bread that came to the table first. Both entrees came with fresh salads; mine with blue cheese dressing. We both skipped the croutons but cleaned the bowls otherwise.
I had the pork porterhouse for $17.29 that came buttery and greasy and with way too much salt, just the way I like it!!! Side of mixed vegs was VERY healthy.
Lunch mate had lamb chops for $20.99 with mashed--GREAT mashed, by the way, with spinach on top. They brought half the order home.
Waiter Rob did a great job. Beside our table and another next to us, he was tending bar, serving beverages and food to a long line of customers on bar stools. He was really hustling to make sure everyone got the great Longhorn service diners come to expect over the years. We certainly enjoyed meeting him. You'd be lucky if you get one of his tables.
Hope to see you here next time we shop and then stop in.
