We love Yarmouth Resort. We have stayed her every year for the last 5 years and we will be back. Staff is wonderful, close to everything and indoor and outdoor pool! You could t ask for more!! We had a wonderful suite with 2 queen beds and a kitchenette!! Thank you Yarmouth Resort for an incredible vacation again this year!!!!
The room itself was average. 2 double beds. Really odd placement of tv in front of the mirror? Fridge but no microwave. Balcony was open when we got in our room. Rooms are dated but mostly clean. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool. We used the outdoor. It was nice. They have an eating area that looks like it was used for breakfast at one point but no longer offer it. Parking is easy and free. Not super walkable to really anywhere except a few lil places. All in all it was an average hotel, just make sure you check if you’ve paid beforehand so they don’t overcharge you. When I checked in I was told that orbitz didn’t collect the $, when I knew that they did and they charged me for the stay. I told them twice that I definitely paid and they said I was mistaken. Went upstairs after checking in & looked at my credit card statement and I was absolutely charged. I go back down and show them and they voided it out but never apologized. If I hadn’t caught it I’d just be charged a whole extra stay I guess.
Great room and location..Only stayed for 1 night for a concert at the Melody tent. Room was very clean and comfortable.. Had a deluxe room with a balcony, jacuzzi tub and small kitchette area. Saw the pool area,also has a hot tub but did not use these amenities. Staff was very welcoming upon check in.Booked our stay on booking.com was skeptical when confirmed said upgrade to room with a toilet but I called and was assured all rooms have a private bathroom.Would definitely stay again when visiting the Cape!!
I found the staff very accommodating with us on check in. We were given a larger room on a corner to help make taking the dog out a little easier and less intrusive to other travelers. Very nice that they even allow a dog. However, the room was seriously dirty and we spent our first hour cleaning it. Although it has sink, refrigerator and microwave, the cabinets are nearly bare for something to use to eat or drink from. The toilet would literally make this screaming sound when you flushed it, so if anyone got up at night, and flushed the toilet, we were all up. Hopefully, it auctions to someone with resources to update it. there was literally no where else to stay on a short notice, so I was stuck.
I just found out that this resort is up for auction. That may explain the fact that it is the worst place I’ve stayed at in years. We finally had a few days to get away. It was filthy beyond anything I’ve seen. The front staff was rude. The toddler above us ran back and forth for over six hours. The mold was everywhere. The carpet was disgusting and we slept on top of the blankets with our own pillows. The bathroom had small bugs flying around. It’s got a mixture of guests as some rooms are condos and owned privately. It’s one step above camping. Only because it had a bathroom.
