This is a motel, not a resort. It is clean and the room we slept in was updated very recently. The room is clean and quiet. The room is advertised for 5 persons but it is really for 4 people since the additional bed is not a sofa bed but couch where the back reclines. It is extremely hard and a even harder in the middle where the two parts of the couch meet. I would consider again if we are a party of four.
Unfortunately it was raining the day we checked in and the water park that is with this resort was closed. But the indoor pool was great for the kids too. The room looked newly renovated and plenty of space for our family of 5. Washroom was on the small size but everything was clean. Didn’t get to use some of the outdoor amenities due to the rain. Would like to try this again when the weather is better.
The hotel check in was quick and easy. She was nice and helpful when i asked for more pillows. The rooms are quite large and was able to fit a queen size blow up mattress. The beds are comfortable, rooms very clean and the bathrooms recently renovated. Our room had a refrigerator and microwave but it lacked a coffee maker.
The bathrooms were very nice but small. Not alot of counter space and the towels were small. There isn't a closet only a metal rod with a few plastic hangers but it worked for us with nothing needing hanging. The A/C worked great but was off and on all night. There is free Wifi, an indoor and outdoor pool, small miniature golf area, corn hole game area, lots of table/chairs along with BBQ areas. There is no breakfast offered only coffee. There is a Dunkin Doughnut next door and another restaurant walking distance along with a Dollar General which offers a little of everything. The beaches are pretty close driving, Inflatable Park is walking distance and miniature golf is close as well. My biggest recommendation would be to request 2nd floor. The floors are thin and can hear people walking around. Its a good hotel and offered what we needed. I really would like to see them add breakfast.
My mom and I, and my big shaggy sheep dog, stayed here recently for a long weekend and couldn’t have been happier with our choice!! The hotel is very pet friendly-great pet friendly rooms and a dog run in the back so the pups can run and play!! We thoroughly enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, not to mention free coffee in the morning. Also the staff were absolutely phenomenal-super friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel; should we ever be in the area again we will absolutely come back and stay at the Town N Country Family Resort
I have stayed at the Town N Country many times over the years during visits to Cape Cod for an annual summer conference. This place underwent renovations to all of the rooms and the office in 2017, and the results are spectacular. The rooms are clean and comfortable and boast new flooring, new furniture, and retiled bathrooms. All this, and the room costs have remained the same. I would highly recommend this motel located on Route 28 in West Yarmouth. It is within walking distance of a number of restaurants and conveniently adjacent to a spur that takes you to U.S. Route 6, the highway that is the major thoroughfare for Cape Cod. Historic downtown Hyannis is only a five-minute drive away. I look forward to future visits to West Yarmouth and will be sure to book here again. The ownership should be rightfully proud of a job well done in upgrading this property.
