A really nice selection of Tapas in downtown Worcester! I was here with my family and was pleasantly surprised with the excellent selection of really delicious Tapas. The setting is a restaurant and not a bar where you see the selections. The waiter was really helpful in making recommendations on what to choose, and how many plates would be enough to satisfy our hunger. Highlights included a mini Kobe beef burger, spicy garlic shrimps and grilled Spanish octopus. They have a nice selection of Spanish wines, and we had a lovely bottle of Tempranillo from Ribeaira del Duero. It was a bit odd that the waiter used the water glass for the wine, and vice versa the wine glass for water. He said "that is how we do it here!" Well ok, the taste was just the same :)

This is my second review of Bocado and I found it even better than the first time in 2015. The Bocado Experience (for 2 people) at $75.00 is a great way to sample several dishes. You will not go away hungry. Recommended from the Charcuteria y queso menu are Salchicha De Faisan which is pheasant sausage with a hint of cognac and Pato Ahumado - a house-smoked duck breast with balsamic syrup.

From the Tapas Frias menu, two fantastic selections - Bistec Crudo, beef carpaccio with fiery paprika oil, fried garlic, manchego and rioja syrup.

The Tapas Calientes highlights were: Almejas Con Chorizo which are sautéed littleneck clams tossed with chorizo, garlic, tomato and saffron; Calamares Con Ajo - fried calamari with garlic, lemon, parsley and horseradish crema; Hamburgeruesas De Wagyu - twin mini Kobe-style beef burgers, basil, lettuce, tomato, and Spanish onion; last but not least was the Chuletas De Cordero - grilled lollipop lamb chops with rosemary mustard oil.

In addition to all of these delights, we added on an extra Small Paella Clasica (24.) to take home for the next day. If you chose 6 tapas (instead of the eight that we got) your Paella would be included in the original $75.00 price.

Service and ambience are very well done and we loved our waitperson Jackie!

Parking lot across street, or parking on street and valet parking also available.

Going back!

I am always amazed at how busy they can be but still keep up with their clientèle's needs. We had the autumn salad which was very good, then we enjoyed the 5 hour beef brisket-this was more than amazing! I would not hesitate to order this again next time. We always ask for their fantastic bread pudding to go. I have never had a bad experience at Bocado, they just keep getting better and better.

Take the tour for two. It's pricey but worth every cent!! You'll be stuffed and have leftovers for tomorrow. Skip the red wine sangria, at $25, it wasn't worth it. The food, however, is truly fantastic.
