Good food. Hadn't eaten East African cuisine in 8 years and we decided to stop by after our vacation in Maine.

The people who run this family owned business are very nice . We called and ordered while we were getting there and they were very accommodating even though it was almost their closing time.

I guess the mom makes the food and the kids are the waiters. The food was delicious, just like what people eat at home and well priced. It's not a fancy place but worth the stop.

Enthusiasts of Ethiopian food, we decided to try the Ethiopian, Kenyan, and Somali foods offered here. We were were served by a young man who eagerly explained the menu and expressed genuine excitement about sharing his family's culture and his mom's cooking (she's the chef!). We tried the samosas, Somali Anjera with three vegetables stews, the Ugali with Sukuma and chicken, and the Kenyan Chai tea. The entire meal was delicious, plentiful, and completely different from anything we'd had before. Overall, it was a great meal with terrific service for great value. I would (and have already started to) recommend this to everyone!

Ate dinner here and the food was fantastic. Two of us shared samosas, eggplant chapatti, and the Anjero platter for two. The food was amazing! The samosas were incredible, perfectly cooked, with a thin, crispy outside. The veggie stews are so flavorful and delicious, the meat stews were cooked perfectly. We tried the chicken, beef, and goat, all were great! I also loved the chapatti bread. Our server was so nice and helpful with suggestions. Make sure you ask for the homemade hot sauce. We were stuffed but took a piece of the homemade tres leches cake to go and had later on and it was equally amazing. Don't miss this place, we will be back!

We were greeted by our server -a very friendly young man- who sincerely thanked us for coming. He explained the dishes in detail since the cuisine was new to us. We were specifically looking for vegan options, and there were many! Amazing spicy lentil samosas, and Ethiopian injera with 3 veggie stews were just delicious!! The best was the homemade green hot sauce served with them...OMG it was so fresh! The place is a true family affair, and everyone came over to greet us and thank us for eating there. The only improvement that I'd suggest is painting the walls. The plain white walls are rather sterile and a coat of a warm color paint -maybe a nice warm ochre or terra cotta-would go a long way to warm up the physical environment to match the warmth and kindness of the proprietors. We will be back for sure!! Thanks Fatima and family for a great meal and experience!

Do not let the exterior fool you, walk inside, meet some of the friendliest restaurant owners in town, and eat. A lot. You no longer need to drive into Boston for Ethiopian, it is here in Worcester! And, it is much better than what you get at some of the places in Boston. This has become one of our favorite and go-to spots. Sometimes, we call ahead and get takeout sometimes we stay and dine-in. It is always delicious!
