My wife, two boys (ages 14 & 10) and I just returned from a 3 night stay in this cabin. This was a fantastic place for us to stay for our first time visiting the area! While we didn't do much more than drive around part of Big Star Lake, it's very close by this cabin if that's part of your destination. Grocery store is "just down the street" in country terms. Baldwin Canoe and town not far from that. Location was excellent, cabin was clean and well stocked as per description and pictures, and had abundant wildlife to watch in the pond behind the house. Transaction was flawless and owner very helpful with our stay. ABSOLUTELY will stay here again when returning to the area. Already considering making an annual trip to this area. Fire pit in the front yard was used every night! Also enjoyed just sitting outside at night and enjoying the peace and quiet. Cabin A/C was a standalone unit, but kept it cool enough on hot August days. No wifi available...just what I was looking for. :-) Great place to getaway!
