The beds are awful. There is one bedroom that has a queens size bed and it was fine. The rest of the beds in my option would be fine for children, but not for women or men. We called to let them know the other bed was a only the box spring and there was no mattress. His reply was that there was one the last time he was their??? That fixes it how?
Their is no internet or wifi. So no music, but if you have some disc or tapes they do have some thing that will play them.

This review is irritating and laughable at the same time. First, we let this group add a 7th person at the last minute for NO additional charge AND told them it would be a tight fit. Second, how does an adult not know the difference between a mattress and a box spring. This person calls me and is upset that there is only a "box spring" upstairs in the loft. AND she still thinks its a box spring in the review. Let me be clear...THERE IS A QUEEN BED IN THE LOFT THAT IS A MATTRESS ONLY!! IT IS NOT A BOX SPRING LOL!! So you can see why I did not have a good fix for her. I thought she was kidding. I seriously thought that maybe someone took the mattress and replaced it with a box spring. I cannot help that an adult does not know the difference between a mattress and a box spring. And I state that there is no internet. Or wifi ( aren't they the same thing?) Guess she does not know that either. Either way, in 2 years we have never had a bad review. I will chalk this one up to the fact that you can't make everyone happy. Also, just to be sure this craziness doesn't happen again, I'll be adding a box spring under the "MATTRESS" in the very near future. Thanks!

My wife, two boys (ages 14 & 10) and I just returned from a 3 night stay in this cabin. This was a fantastic place for us to stay for our first time visiting the area! While we didn't do much more than drive around part of Big Star Lake, it's very close by this cabin if that's part of your destination. Grocery store is "just down the street" in country terms. Baldwin Canoe and town not far from that. Location was excellent, cabin was clean and well stocked as per description and pictures, and had abundant wildlife to watch in the pond behind the house. Transaction was flawless and owner very helpful with our stay. ABSOLUTELY will stay here again when returning to the area. Already considering making an annual trip to this area. Fire pit in the front yard was used every night! Also enjoyed just sitting outside at night and enjoying the peace and quiet. Cabin A/C was a standalone unit, but kept it cool enough on hot August days. No wifi available...just what I was looking for. :-) Great place to getaway!
