Awesome place to stay. Great room. Very clean. Deon at the front desk was so nice. She called when we hadn't arrived to make sure we were still coming. She told us to park right out front when we arrived which was right in front of our room. The grounds are beautiful. Very homey feel and within walking distance to everything in town.

We discovered this gem last Fall. We have been back once in the Spring and will visit again this Fall. Can't wait!
A perfect location as home base to travel and explore Northern Michigan. Looking forward to the Fall colors!

Enjoyed a very relaxing stay in the Riverside suite. Nice extras such as the Keurig coffee maker and the lighted makeup mirror. Large shower and separate Jacuzzi tub with fireplace. Would love to stay here again in the fall or winter, the colors must be fabulous to view through the large windows in this room. We had our own little deck overlooking the river and the beautiful landscaping. Tiki torches lit nightly in the garden, along with the solar lanterns made for a pretty evening sitting outside. The entire inn is nicely decorated. Shorts Brewery is just up the street & worth a visit.

Room Tip: The Riverside suite was very quiet except for occasional noise from the patio chairs being used/moved around on the deck directly above.

Talk about a relaxing place to stay! The rooms are very nice. Get the Vinyard Room! It is well worth the extra money!! Very attractive common areas that make you want to settle in and enjoy! This is located on the end of a very nice down town area. The main street is very clean and full of visitors. be sure to check in at the shops and to have a beer at the brew pub up the street!!

P.S. The breakfast next door is terrific!
