We decided to stay at the holiday inn here in Benton Harbor during the COVID19 pandemic, despite not intending to do so due to a funeral. This hotel was built in 1990, over thirty years old and the last time it was renovated was in 2010, ten or so years ago and the renovations are really showing their age and old gen-non OLED keycards (magnetic keycards). The hotel had very small bathrooms, and had a very limited breakfast menu. The room and cleaning service was so lethargic that they had to what until we had checked out.
We may not come to this hotel again until it is modernized to 2020s standards and have better room service.More
