Management is terrible. I will Never stay at this branch of hotel again thanks to the experience at this big rapids location. Manager is not pleasant or understanding especially during #covid times.. Somehow a error was made on our reservation and they booked 2 rooms the night before We were supposed to be there. After a long day at bear dunes around 11 pm we came to check in at our hotel. To learn of the error (we have 15+ other rooms + 50+ people booked in this hotel with BIG family) were told we don’t have reservations and were marked as no shows yesterday. At this point my 2) 1 year olds 1) 6 yr old and 3) elderlys are sitting in the parking lot over a hour while we’re trying to figure out what happened. Our reservations were for the 22nd and I’m sure of it. The mistake was on somebody else’s end. I had to go book another 2 rooms at a differently hotel then the rest of my family, at midnight costing 300$. The “manager” BRITTNEY refused to credit back our cards for the error made on THEIR END. Hotel lobby was not up to standards for covid pandemic.
I'm sorry to hear that this is not this is not the experience you wanted to have with our property, but I do apologize for the inconvenience. Due to our occupancy levels and also booking through a third party, our property was not responsible for the reservations. We have no control of the third party sites, so if the dates were booked incorrectly, that would be something for them to look into. I do hope you have a wonderful day.
Honestly this is a very nice place very nice people just had a half-eaten chicken patty in my desk chair lol the bathroom was very clean the bed was comfortable kind of Hit and Miss on the TV channels but it was still nice location was good and would definitely stay again
