This hotel was kind of outdated as far as the furniture in the room. The elevator wasn't working. The tub, hot tub and toilet was needed to be upgraded. The good thing was the room was clean, breakfast was ok. The front area was updated so when you go to your you think it would be updated too but it wasn't. Also it was lady bugs in the room by the window.Probably won't come back to this location until the do some updates to the rooms.

We've stayed here the past 10 years since moving from the area. Excited to read about the renovation ( still continuing). Room 402 is close to the end of a long hall. The remodeled room initially looked good--new carpet, new bathroom vanity----but. Window was open Large bathroom has a new vanity, shoddy workmanship on the installation. Poor lighting. Needs a light above tub. Same old tub, tile and bad grout. Safety bar was loose with tile wiggling. Breakfast area has new tables/chairs, but some are not leveled. Breakfast food is above average and area is well tended. There is additional table seating in a common area which is open 24/7. A large dumpster is in front of the the common area window and also visible from the breakfast area. Landscaping in this area has only declined in 10 years. However, it is kept free of litter. We will probably continue to book here as it is convenient for us and much cheaper than hotel next door. Wish the remodel was better executed. Also, hotels should remember that the front desk person should be welcoming as well as efficient as most guests have been traveling for many hours.

Room Tip: Multistoried with elevator but hallways can be long.

Spent two nights here for the Woodward dream Cruise. The hotel was under renovation and the rooms discounted ($99 night). Staff was friendly, great breakfast, good location. Would stay here again. Rooms are clean.

Room Tip: Back side of the hotel looks out over I-696 but has trees and some distance so it's reasonably quiet.

Bathroom had peeling wallpaper. Old, dated looking furnishings. Bed was comfortable. Not sure about clean, found a bobby pin on floor. Lost total power at 1am, and didn't come back on until 4:30am. Got pretty hot in there and I didn't sleep much, worried about having power and waking up in the morning without clocks or lights or A/C.
