We spent an anniversary weekend during their $99 special for a Jacuzzi suite. The inn is well located near Douglas and Saugatuck. The fireplace worked great and kept the room very warm, and the Jacuzzi worked great as well. Walls are pretty thin....we could easily hear conversations in the surrounding rooms. The decor does seem dated as well.

They offer a guest kitchen that has glassware, tea, popcorn, and homemade cookies, which is a nice touch. You can also store things in their refrigerator. Indoor pool looked inviting but we ran out of time to try it. Grounds look they'd make a fun summer getaway.l

The couple who run the place are quite gracious, but it is clear they are also very religious by all the books they have stocked in the bookcase and in the rooms. So that may not be a comfortable fit for everyone.

Heritage Inn is clean, and grounds well-kept. Owners are pleasant and accommodating. Two primary issues: 1) Bathroom in Wicker Room is SO small your knees touch the door when you use the toilet. The bathroom is obviously carved out of a very small closet. 2) The inn was nowhere near full, yet we were not offered a room with a better bathroom...which the empty room next to us had (we saw before the door was shut). Poor marketing acumen on the part of the owners....we will not stay again.

We loved the hosts and the breakfasts were great! We loved and used the pool while we were there. It's a great location between Saugatuck and South Haven, so you can go to both, and it's only 10 minutes from the beach! It was great!

Heritage Manor is located between Saugatuck and South Haven, two wonderful towns to visit. We enjoyed these towns and then loved going back to Heritage Manor away from the hustle and bustle. It was only 8 minutes from Saugatuck and 15 minutes from South Haven. The rooms were very clean and having a jacuzzi in the room was great. They would let you borrow a DVD player and take DVD's from their collection. The breakfasts were wonderful with fresh fruit, baked breads, eggs, sausage, and cereal every day. The pool was very nice as was the playground, volleyball, badmitton areas. We will go again and will bring our kids for a family vacation. The owner showed us the family rooms and they were great too! The owners were always ready to give great recommendations for food or entertainment but also were not intrusive. The comment from "bring a tent instead" is way off base! We enjoyed our trip and will go again. We met people there that had been coming for 15 years, that shows that they are committed to being a great B&B.

This was Our first time in a Bed and Breakfast and We were Quite Surprised.

The Hosts (Ross and Diane) were Great, (Good Christian Down to Earth People)
the Food (Breakfast) was Very enjoyable. The Hosts would visit and give Us
Pointers on where to spend the Day.

And We really enjoyed the little things like Fresh Cookies, Popcorn and the
free DVD selection.

This would be a great choice for a Family Reunion or a Church Retreat.

We enjoyed our overnight here immensely. The room was lovely and very private. The room was very clean and having a jacuzzi in the room made it special. A homemade breakfast with a good variety of food and great conversation with our hosts finished our stay perfectly.

We have two very young children and stayed at this B&B for our trip to Saugatuck, MI which is just up the road. We booked one of the family suites at a very reasonable rate for peak season. For $140 a night we had one bedroom with a fridge, microwave, coffemaker, etc. and a living room with a sleeper sofa. We also had a little patio in the back. They had a children's playset and a great indoor pool with a 1 ft. separate pool for the kids. Breakfast was so wonderful! Great home cookin'!! The B&B was so quiet and clean. The owners are such nice people!! Would definitely recommend.
