Decent food and decent prices. Service wasn't the greatest. Asked twice for a refill and didn't get one. Also forgot silverware.

Their new pancake recipe is a disaster. Way to sweet, not fluffy at all and served cold to boot! Also, they don't ring in the AARP discount, which should be appreciable. When it's brought to their attention they tell you, "it's all rung up...too late!"
The restaurant is quite attractive. The hostess welcomed us and seated us. We were immediately greeted by the server and she brought coffee. Our breakfast orders arrived promptly and the food was very good. As usual, I had a senior meal and he ordered a slam. As we paid our bill, the pleasant gentleman asked if we wished to leave a tip. We said we had left cash because sometimes we do not get charged for a tip added to a credit-card bill when the meal charge has already been run through the machine. He assured us that his servers' tips are included in the billed charges. This was one of the nicest Denny's we've been to.
This is not my stereotypical Denny's. The outside is well cared for and inviting. When I entered I was warmly greeted by 2 different employees. We were seated promptly. The waitress was available but not intrusive. I ordered a late breakfast for lunch and got a very tasty omelette. The hash browns were excellent. Overall it was a great experience.
It's Denny's so you know what sort of food to expect. What makes this one of the best of this chain is the employees and cleanliness. Very prompt service, nice people.
