Place was not busy and the service was good....We were hungry for Lake Superior Whitefish which is on the menu......It was supposed to be fresh but the fish was smelly, and expensive, would not recommend this place.....

Stopped for lunch this past week at 11:30am...place was not busy. Made our order. Once a few more tables arrived, service slowed down. Had to ask for the check. Overall, okay and location makes all the difference. Breakfast anytime is a plus but lower your expectations.

Philly was very good, breakfast skillet was avg, people were nice. Seemed a little pricey, but was a good experience and would go back.

This restaurant is but one short block from the Munising City Dock, where the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore cruise boats are docked. The Navigator stays open until the last cruise of the day is completed.

Although food is average, the waitresses are attentive.

Pricing is reasonable.

We came here on the advice of Larry at the Terrace Motel. This is a nautically decorated restaurant with a patio overlooking the lake. The local radio station DJ plays from inside the restaurant. (It is not loud, and was kept at a regular restaurant music level, we hardly noticed he was there) Service was good although a bit slow. The menu features many different items, I was pleased with the selection. The food was decent, I had the french dip and fries along with my husband and our daughter had a Philly Steak and Cheese/ Mushroom sandwich which she loved. When we checked out at the register there were lots of boxes and a pile of swept up debris right next to us, that was a turn off but I suppose this does not happen regularly and we just happened on it at that time. Overall I would eat here again if I were in the area.
