Stopped in for lunch and a beer- overall we enjoyed our visit. The beer was reasonably priced and pretty good, you can get 5oz, 10oz or 20oz pours for all under or around $6.50.

The pulled pork was delicious and I highly recommend. My husband had the jalapeño burger and was not impressed. It also is additional $3 for fries over chips which was a bit much.

Our service was good but overall wouldn't stay longer than a beer and a quick bite.

stopped for lunch in july, curious about the building and location. we found tbe layout to be a bit odd. we were seated upstairs in the corner facing the balcony overlook to what seemed to be a band stage on the lower level. what should have been a nice lunch overlooking little traverse bay was actually a very noisy and uncomcotable meal. we could barely carry on a conversation while talking over the noise, due primarily to the accoustics of the glass, brick and wood.

felt a bit like a bar feels during the daylight hours. our conclusion was probably a fun nightclub, but not a great venue for a quiet lunch.

the food was average to below average, and was bar "adequate" but we felt like the focus was beer (it is of course a brewery) and nightclub experience.

thought was two stars but bumped to three as they stiĺl seem to be moving in and getting their new place in order.

I met a work colleague of mine at Beards to try it out for the first time and we were certainly NOT disappointed. After we were seated our server promptly greeted us and explained the routine. What with a large beer selection and menu she was very patient as we perused our choices while catching up. We probably should have paid more attention to the menus but Holly was patient with us and let us take our time which we really appreciated. We like the atmosphere which allows all to view the bay and for as open as the space is you can still carry on a conversation without having to yell at one another. After we caught up and stopped gawking we ordered beer and another round and then ordered food. Fish tacos, and the fish and chips since it was Friday. Food was excellent and plentiful, the beer unique and thirst quenching even though I anticipated pints instead of 10oz or 22oz pours. All in all fantastic and I would recommend Bearsds to anyone who enjoys craft beers and eclectic food.

Stopped by for lunch on a recent visit. The location is great with sweeping views of the Bay.

Interesting beers mixed among some typical options. I had the Boulevardier and it was a tasty strong with a nice finish.

Lunch was tasty. Fish & Chips were good. Broccoli salad was great.

We'll be back!

We stopped here for lunch. This is a relatively new space for the brewery and it is very well done. Great views of the lake. Open and clean but warm with wood accents. It feels like a brewery should. Lunch was good. Our table got the sweet and spice pizza, the burger and roasted veggie curry - a very diverse sampling of their foods. Everything was delicious. The curry was flavorful but not too spice. The burger was a good solid burger. The pizza was the favorite with a really good mix of the sweet and spicy flavors. Overall the beers were good but we didn't walk out with a growler of anything. Service was pretty good.
