I started by biking the trail first, doing the full loop which is about 6 miles. It's a fairly easy trail to do and there's not too many hills or anything. There were a couple of spots with wet mud though, so watch out! After that, went down to the falls for a quick dip to cool off and then relaxed around in the picnic area. As other reviews said, the parking lot and falls area have been recently redone, and they're both great! Definitely worth visiting alone and/or with family/friends!

Ocqueoc falls is a little hidden treasure that is quite neat to see. Everyone enjoyed the falls either by photographing them, drawing, painting or splashing in them. They have just redone the parking area and there are nice picnic tables to have a picnic lunch. They do need a few more though. The kids loved trying to play in the falls. There are some deep areas so bring a life jacket if your kids are mediocre swimmers. Water shoes are a must. Very slippery. You do need a recreation pass to get in! Worthwhile trip!

This is a beautiful spot to visit in the area. It is actually the only recognized water fall in the lower peninsula. It's a spot for newly weds in the area to get some beautiful pictures too!!!!! It's been a favorite swimming hole for the local kids forever!!!!! And still is!!!! It's now been revamped into a handicap accessible area with stone steps placed so everyone can get into the falls for a swim! There are hiking trails, picnic area, campground.

The falls aren't as big as I thought they would be, but my kids (6 and 8) had a lot of fun swimming here. There was a spot they could jump off which they thought was great, it's a little deeper so my husband stood at the bottom to catch them. They put a lot of work into it to make it accessible which is nice. There's picnic tables set up also. When we went it was very busy though, it's not a very big area for as many people as were there. Overall a nice park and great place for the kids to cool off!

We actually have baby falls in the lower. This area is brand new and what a serene place to walk and play in the water. Handicap available so everyone can get up close to the water. The stone barriers/steps by the falls are so beautiful in placement and color and I was surprised how unpopulated this was. A secret gem that is off the beaten path a little- but so worth the drive to see it. Picnic tables for lunch, walk the dog or just sit and reflect.
